The Gaultier bottle and the can packaing is far superior in my opinion. If you buy purely for the fragrance, that's ok, but I like bottle designs and presentation too.

Man,you nailed it with so many sprays:)...athough this version didn’t get so great reviews as some others,i actually like it a lot,although i’m over 40,and this is targeted to younger audience for it’s playfullness...

Another stellar vid George. Great to get Hannah's thoughts too. I might want to mention though, coming from the medical field, that anosmia and olfactory fatigue are really not the same. Anosmia is a physiological malady, whereas olfactory fatigue is a normal sensory adaptation in response to excessive stimuli. I know some people may interpret this as a pretentious comment (apologies), but it really does pain me (and perhaps even genuine anosmics) to see them used synonymously when discussing olfactory perception. You KNOW how much I love your channel and content, so this is in no way a criticism, but I just thought I'd give you a heads up since you did flash it on the screen. Hate to think that there are people out there that may be too terrified to wear a fragrance for fear of losing their sense of smell. Btw, that poke at Peter, brilliant.

Same thing happens to us vapers when using our favorite flavors for extended amounts of time. Coffee and mint seem to be good resets. That and fresh air!

Le Male In The Navy was the 2nd one from the house that actually smelt masculine, on outfit it actually lasted almost the whole day, on skin though? i'd say a couple of hours only

Brett E yes mate, that’s Cloying which basically means that it’s so overly sweet that it feels you’re being choked by it or it’s uncomfortable to wear.

This reminds me of lynx excite body spray

You're one of the only reviewers that point out that this is a dark, aggressive fragrance. People make it sound like it's a sprayable pina colada when in actuality the body of this composition is somewhere between A&F Fierce/First Instinct and JV's Dark Rebel. The coconut softens it, but it's dark, peppery, smoky burning., really sharp aggressive spice notes of Sage. It's an interesting dichotomy with the tropical vibe - but definitely more abrasive than the fruity-tooty sweet bomb reviewers make it out to be.

what's the harsh chemical smell in all the Le Male fragrances? Unfortunately this one opens like that too :(

I've heard the smell is great, but longevity is an issue?

Dry down reminds me of a Hollister fragrance I used to wear called Drift, years ago.

My favorite is still the original Le Male and I'll treasure my 2011 bottle until that runs dry...but I'll give this one a try. Cheers!

I have a knock off from 2008 and it's funny that it lasts more than the current formulations out there. But yeah, the original Le male is a great fragrance.

How many sprays was that? Too much imo.

i tested it ... and it smell very sweet (synthetic sweet ) and in the dry down i can pick up one note: COCONUT Obnoxious and boring SECOND TRY : this parfum is gonna work well only for muscular or cute guys it's a turn on ....if you are chuby and fat or even average and you smell like coconut donuts you can imagine the rest

Sounds messed up but this is spot on! You gotta wear what works with you, its key!! Im 38, but looks 26, i have trouble growing a beard and im very boyish lol; theres tonssss of frags that smell soooo good but they come off very mature, classy, regal; i love em but its alot harder for me to pull off o.0

I think you oversprayed (considering you just unboxed it). Tested this and the performance suffered. Not a bottle worthy.

MRfisheri mate. I’ve got people saying the exact same thing about Dior Sauvage Parfum that I over sprayed it out of the box and that’s why I get bad Performance. I can’t win LOL.

What JPG fashion and perfumery always meant to me was: sophisticated, high quality, outstanding super erotic craziness. I have some vintage fashion pieces from JPG and the vintage Classique pure parfum from the 90s and THAT's Gaultier. This lazy, mass pleasing, boring, unsexy, stupid, way too feminine cold coconut soup is nothing I will ever recommend to anyone... Okay, maybe as a car air freshener for an industrial truck. Yes. That's a great idea... but not on a man and not on you.*

Great video! I mean I really cant stand this scent because the coconut note is so chemically to my nose and contaminates everything else in there, but I find it very interesting to hear why other people like it. I think it is a bit polarizing but definitely more people like it. Well, I'm not a fan of sweet scents in general and JPG doesnt do it for me in most cases (Le Male Le Parfum is a good fragrance but not my thing). Only Paco Rabanne is worse regarding sweet stuff: Phantom, 1 Million Elixir...
