In those times..in the past...there were marriages between a gay man and gay woman who know each other's identity but married each other to hide from the society's pressure to get married. And by doing like this. They can date the gender they like in secret and won't be cheating...since both of them knows...its like a open relationship expect that the main parties don't love each other and they know it. There was a term for it. I forgot :'D
