"Old parts of spacecraft." This single line prompted this huge train of thought about making a spaceport with hover vehicles and ships, and buildings and stuff, out of one of those cat trees. Multi-tiered spaceport diorama. Go!

9:34 the transition from someone dying a horrible death to cheerful music is amazing

Personally, I like both edit styles. I do really like the longer more in depth camera angles, transitions, and music you usually do, but I feel the time lapse approach was also really tastefully done. If doing videos that way saves you time and stress, then I am all for time lapse builds. Keep up the amazing work Mr. Making Stuff!

12:58 The special effects in this video are amazing. It really looks like "Dan" and "Bill" are in the same room together. I'm surprised at how spacious Salute is. It almost looks bearable for a misanthrope like me. What a fun video and build.

I liked the bare bones Bill video, felt like an extended story time which itself is fantastic. It kind of dawned on me while listening to this, it's like you're reading us bedtime stories. They're kinda comforting in a way. So thanks for those. I'd be happy if future videos were this format, especially at times where things might be overwhelming. Stress less and knock out a quickie like this. Give us more lore 👍

I would like to think that any body of water in the Gutterlands is like the river in Ankh Morpork and has a crust of junk completely covering it. Thick enough for rusters to walk across but anything big will sink straight through.

Time lapse was fine🤷‍♀️ more story time? Can't complain about that😍

This was such a fantastic one day build! Love all the sea shell/sort of barnacle details you put on the back, they created such a great texture! Don't get me wrong, I get excited to see all of your videos, but I always look forward to your terrain pieces so much. Wonderful as usual!

Sad to hear the Bangarang video isn't doing so hot. My wife, 2 sons, and I have been scratch building our bots all week. Our kitchen table is covered in random beads, super glue, and random bits so we have been eating meals on the floor or at the sink in shifts. We can't wait to get them painted up and get some games in!

I get a bit of a Pirates of The Caribbean meets One Piece vibe of both the lore and the build. Cool stuff as always.

The time lapse with extended storytime os fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is add little handwritten text overlays with an arrow, poonting to a new bit that you just added, and tell us something about it like, "this is a yogurt container." or, "this is floral wire." Kind of like, if we read along, we will get the ingredients to the secret recipe.

The time lapse wasn't bad at all. And your build definitely won, they were just too ashamed of losing to admit it. 😜 It is a excellent piece of terrain. Everything is perfect. Those barnacles are flawless. 😍

I like the change of format with the time lapse. I think that sometimes you pros get so good at producing a clean, tidy video that your actual craftsmanship and the messiness of the process get a bit lost. The curated experience is nice, but it’s good to see the real thing too 😊

That was the most entertaining time-lapse ever, mainly because it was story time too 😁 "..drowned to death" - classic. Is it just me who got Spongebob vibes from Captin Charron's story, and the Goodle Shack? Episode 81 and I'm only three episodes in, that's my terrain building downtime sorted next week )O(

Nothing wrong with a time lapse if it helps you avoid burnout and stress! Didn't effect the quality of the video in the slightest! Plus it leaves more room for the lore which is a bonus 💪 In future it could be worth using wider shots so we can see all the action, and maybe adding in a few normal speed shots so we can get a better visual of the progress being made! But I don't know shit about filming so take it with a pinch of salt and all that lmao Wish I could hop on the patreon but I'm broke 🙃 love the vids tho! Wana get playing bangerang soon too!

In case your eye doesnt grow back in time, you can make some prostethics like the one in Waterworld, that 100-year old movie with Kevin Costner, Capt Holt's husband.

Its a shame your Bangarang Vid didn't go too well. I think its an excellent visual tutorial for how to play. But maybe thats because people have Banga-burn out. Whatever you make Bill, it's brilliant and the editing is incredible.

Recommendation to make this a series and call them “One Day Bills”
