Ingredients and recipe:
- Vegetable oil 40 ml (2.5 tbsp)
- Soft butter 40 g (2.5 tbsp)
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- Sugar 3 tbsp.
- Warm milk 200 ml
- Dry yeast 7 g (2 tsp)
- Cornstarch 2 tbsp.
- Salt 1/2 tsp.
1. Mix all ingredients with a whisk
- All-purpose wheat flour 520-550 g (add in parts)
2. Mix all ingredients with a spatula for 2-3 minutes
3. Place the dough on the table
4. Knead for 4-5 minutes, the dough should become smooth and not stick to your hands.
5. Grease the bowl with vegetable oil
6. Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise for 50-55 minutes.
7. The dough has risen well, look how beautiful it is
8. Divide the dough into 12 equal parts
9. Roll them into a ball.
10. Place each ball on baking paper
11. Cover with a towel and let rest for 10-15 minutes
12. The dough has risen a little, you can work with it
13. Roll out a piece of dough into a circle
14. Cut into 8 identical triangles (like pizza)
15. Stack the dough triangles on top of each other. Repeat after me
16. Press with a chopstick, like in the video
17. Join and secure edges
18. Place on baking paper
19. Do the same with the remaining pieces of dough
20. This is amazing! Makes very nice buns
21. Cover with a towel and let rest for 25-30 minutes
- Egg yolk 1 pc.
- Milk 1 tbsp.
22. The buns have risen, look how beautiful they are!
23. Lubricate with a brush
24. Bake at 180°C (360°F) for 24-27 minutes
25. You can cover the last 4-5 minutes with foil or baking paper to prevent it from burning.
