  • @EfficientRVer
    @EfficientRVer2 жыл бұрын

    Hey Andrew, nicely done and well presented. At the end when you were thanking the other participants for having you in their game, it gave me an idea for you. You could offer to make another video of the session from each one's point of view. Maybe a short version for them to post on their own channel of their key hands and an interview, plus a long version on your channel with more hands and more analysis that they could link to. Maybe the same format as this one, but with them in hero position. Or maybe a Bart Hansen format where you're running the show interviewing, analyzing, and advising them. I'd give them some latitude in how raw versus polished to make it, how much help you give them in how to present what they did, etc. Too raw might make them fumble to describe stuff that we have terms for, but too polished and scripted by you might make it not reveal what they were really thinking or doing. Especially when their overall view might not be as poker-focused or win/loss-focused as it was just going out to have a fun time. Let them shine to their own audience/friends/family. Maybe one or more would end up going from acquaintance to friend, plus you might gain subscribers yourself in the process. Take some drone footage of them heading out to go play, whether they're taking an Uber so they can drink, or a Bentley because they can. If several do it, then eventually you could post a grand-finale version with the best content from each of them. More as an experiment in a new genre of poker video, than as a claim that this particular game was the most amazing of all time. It had enough great moments to show what the new genre could do, a proof of concept for when you stumble upon a game where post-producing something like it would really create something viral beyond the usual audiences. And hey, if you ever burn out on poker, you could always produce vanity poker videos for wealthy clients who'd seen a genre-creating video by you.

    @@AndrewNeeme Good answer Andrew. Always intelligent. Speaking of which, and I've replied to another comment regarding your mini interview with Madison but you may not read it: she's an attractive gal, no doubt about it. She's also eloquent and as you noticed? She either watches your vlog, knows about your merch, or actually did her homework on the fly. I've been subbed since October of the year you began vlogging. Or thereabouts. We met briefly, when no one knew your name, at Bellagio poker room. You were sitting in a $1-$3 game, waiting for a seat at higher stakes. I recognized you and came over to your table, which was situated along the rail to the theater promenade. You were gracious to me, albeit seemingly surprised to have been recognized. In December of 2017 or January of 2018 (my memory of the event is dimming... am getting old...) I attended a MUG which you and Bradley hosted at the Westgate. (Early MUG days!) You (and he) were gracious then too. I have a picture of us somewhere, on a long dead laptop... You're a great poker ambassador Andrew. (Both of you.) Am wondering why you guys are still not flashing "brand" patches. You'd bring so much value to any poker site. Still following your vlog, obviously, lo these many years later. Wish I was in Vegas, still grinding low stakes no limit Holdem. Returned to Canada just prior to the "March 2020 Canada wide lockdown". Have been stuck here ever since. *Sigh. @@daviddorge1559 where neeme, jamon, and owens got their idea of poker vlogging has no correlation to The Trooper being "a goat" of any kind/nature. calling The Trooper "the original poker goat" is literally mental. your* measuring stick, btw (simple grammar mistakes now shows you probably can barely afford 1/3. and you would snap-prefer 1/2 over 1/3 if the former was an available option). i rest my case, you cannot fix the fish.

    Great vlog, Andrew said it best in the intro to starting the game.While people think ah, easy game for Andrew, that’s not the case.. Short story the stakes going high enough can easily throw Andrew off his game. Long story He has the pressure of having to perform well, and while the stakes start off some what comfortable for him, other than Adam and mikki , sizing isn’t something these other players think about. So the game can ballon instantly. I’m sure we’ve all heard that story about ivy and the pros against Andy beal. So stakes and sizing do matter. Andrew is a pro but mid level. (No offense meant) these guys might not be pros but these stakes aren’t as significant to guys like mikki Adam Ryan. Great game Andre had to adapt you can tell while he wasn’t comfortable with the sizings amongst other things he loosened his range and realized he would be in a lot of uncomfortable spots this game but so be it. Congrats Andrew
