Hearing your coverage about cards like Vexing Bauble makes me glad I made the choice I did, as I have no play group for Vintage, so I wouldn’t have been able to do any playtesting/idea bouncing. Congrats on the big win!! 49:57 I would guess that your opponent thought their priest would hold with counterspell backup, and so was holding onto the mite for something else that might steal the win from them like Bolas' Citadel or Null Rod - not thinking about the potential of uncounterable removal. In other words: they tried to do a "how can I lose here?" consideration, but failed to consider all the ways they could lose lol. I know you said in the deck discussion that in the past you'd been on Dismember, so they might have expected that.
