What a gem! I am a wagon lover from way back. I don't need it, but I may be interested in it. Was with Ford as a service manager and shop foreman in Tulsa through the '90's and the 3.0 engine is a good one. Keep us posted.

What blow me away was when you would walk past a brick building at night for the first time. was the amount of heat that would be radiating off the walls of the buildings or sidewalks , it truly felt like when you would open up your oven door after you had been cooking for a while . I drive a 2000 Taurus wagon in great condition. (I know its not a big deal, but it works.) I noticed this video about an older wagon and to my surprise its Randy in Oklahoma and no Mike on this one. You have been doing this longer than I thought and keep up the good work. Note: Who cares what the haters think or say about your cars, lifestyle, or anything. They are just jealous and not willing to put the time and effort making a channel on KZread. But they have no issue taking two seconds to be rude. Keep up the hard work, sorry about your uncle, keep the memories alive and he is never forgotten. FYI- Too late now but if the back window opens just press the button below the glass and it will open. It also has a keyhole too.

The issue with the transmission in these and other Fords is that the transmission needs a fluid flush and change every 40-45K. The clutches tend to gunk up as the fluid ages and breaks down. I had a Taurus, a Windstar and a Crown Vic and the transmissions in all three suffered from trans issues at about that mileage.

Randy - one thing to check, I don’t remember on that car, but there is (I think, going from memory) a multi-function switch on the steering column. That switch can get dirt and corrosion in it over time. Very common on the SN95 Mustangs. You can pull the switch, take it apart and spray some contact clear or Deox-it on it and they’ll usually come back.
