I would not have risked driving the car knowing the coolant leak is spraying on the exhaust manifold. That is a good way to get a cracked manifold.

Ever since I was 17 I’ve always kept an impact gun, impact socket set and regular tool set in my car. They make it so much easier and faster to do stuff like tires on the side of the road.
I won't use their name but you know who I mean. You just gotta love the company you bought the car from. I sometimes wonder, when they interview lift drivers, they give them a test to make sure they can do as much damage as possible moving the cars around. Someone needs to call them out on this!!!!!

I see this Cruze and made me remember of the 2013 Chevy Cruze LTZ I once had. The common issues are: * Valve Cover * Water Outlet not Thermostat Housing * Coil pack * EGR valve Very minor issues but it adds up. There's more things that will go bad on it but if you're able to take care of those things; you can very much have a decent reliable car

Things you need in your car at all times... (assuming your vehicle has a spare) 1/2 cordless impact(Ryobi is cheap and effective), ATA reversible lug socket set, scissor jack with 17mm or 19mm drive nut. From experience.... Turn that 1-2 hour blowout/flat tire nightmare into a 5 min tire swap anyone can do. That impact, sockets and jack might total you $200? The cost of one tow? Totally worth it. You have a wonderful time making these videos, and all of us have a wonderful time whatching these videos! Please keep up the good work! Greetings from Milan, Italy!
This one made you work for it . Nice car, with a few minor tweaks it will serve someone for years to come.
My grandma. left me her car when she passed away in March 17 2003. It was a 1992 Subaru Legacy Sudan. It sat in my driveway for years. It just needed a battery it started right up. It needed a lot of work. Awesome video
Just take the two tires you bought put them on the front they're all 215 same height. Put the 215-55s on the back 🤔
Hell yeah randy didn't expect a win video on Monday last I remember you were doing weekends. Loving the content keep it up buddy and hope you and your wife are alright from the accident.
You are right Randy. That's the way you have to do it, for good content for us. Everything on the spot. So we can see what to buy and how to buy. Other thing, you will now what you bought, driving it home. Keep up with the good work. Love it.
These Cruzes always came into the shop I worked at. Valve covers going bad, PCV valves, Water pumps, Thermostats.
bought a Jaguar and a BMW recently from Copart. Guess what? Forklift driver idiots completely ruined rear part of front bumper, and rear IRS/rear axle frame. Damage was definitely not there when I inspected the car before auction. they should find different ways to move the cars around.
It's really great to see your videos, you seems to have so much fun with every car you win from the auction, I would love to have an auto auction close by to me also. Keep up the good work.
Great video!! Thank you for all your hard work.
I have a 2014 1.4L Chevy Cruze. It’s a cheap gas saver commuter car. I agree with you, I think these are great for what they are. So far just regular maintenance and only one issue being the turbo which is the common cracked waste gate. I’m glad to hear you have gotten 200,000 miles out of yours, that means I should have lots of life left in mine! I hope you make a good bit of content for this car so I can learn for any potential issues I might see. Thanks for all the great content!

Not Thermostat housing water outlet. Thermostat housing on the front left of motor
Plastic thermostat housing and plastic water outlet w/ temp sensor in it on my 2010 Mazda 6. Never overheated. The rubber gasket on the water outlet crapped out at 307K miles last December. Same gasket on the thermostat hasn’t failed yet. I’m getting The original thermostat and water pump replaced soon, I don’t want a failure, now it has 345K, to leave me stranded this winter.
Nice car. The best looking mini sedan ever made.

bro we have a 14, 2 bad water pumps, head gasket, thermostat, valve cover, intake manifold, both 02 sensor , fuel rail sensor, Turbo, 3 coolant lines, 2 clamps, coolant tank, oil leak from somewhere, purge valve. 100k miles
Good video Randy too bad The auction people aren't more careful & I hope everyone alright after last night Some people just don't care about other people's property I'm one of those who have a accident and do things the right way
It's the intake manifold that causes the pcv valve to fail, get ready for it to fail again without changing it or doing a bypass on it.
Very easy part to fix. Coolant outlet, $40 part plus coolant. Replaced mine on the side of the highway with a socket set and vicegrips, 20 minuet job. Tires $50 a tire Waterfall Eco Dynamic tires at walmart. Cruzes are great cars just need some particular loving.
Good video!
Got you working hard on this chevy 👍👍
Great buy that coolant leak is a easy fix it happened to mine as well it been a great car it has 220000 miles still going strong have had to do some maintenance but that’s expected at that mileage
Great video
that key fob button still works (unless it’s dead😂) you just can’t use it while the key is in the ignition. i had a 2013 malibu with the same key and it wouldn’t work while in the ignition
Hi randy it's collin from Liverpool in the UK its good to see you mate nice car mate
The Chevy Cruze has to have the key removed from the ignition before the trunk can be opened. the key fob or the button above the license plate is the only way to open the trunk. I have a 14 Cruze.
Nice car, good color, just sucks that the thermostat has issues. The clock got reset to January 1st 2010
My mother sold her 2012 ECO Cruze this past year because she got another new car. She bought the Cruze brand new and put roughly 90k miles on it before it had its first minor problem of a failed water pump. Other than that she didn't have any other problems with the car. It was a fun car to drive when i would borrow it.
Replaced my daughters thermostat housing in her Cruze with an all metal housing. It was an 1.8 so not sure if they have one for a 1.4. Took about 3 hours to complete the entire replacement. Not very hard.
A friend of mine has a turbo cruze. same color. he loves it and yes. it is quick. Esp after you mod it a little.
congrats on "winning" a money pit of a car! the 2012 Cruze I once had a 1.8L eco tech engine, it too ate up thermostats, leaking valve cover gasket and as a bonus the head gasket went and had oil on the coolant system and all that fun stuff. And the trunk button did not work. The key fob eventually disintegrated, And the every plastic connector in it was made from the most brittle plastic GM could find. Traded it in for a 2015 GMC,,,no regrets.
They’re a good car. I had a blue, 2.0 turbo diesel. In Australia it was called the Holden Cruze. I had mine 7 years and did 210,000 kms.
Nice score on the Chevy Cruz even though it has some issues.
enjoyed the Cruze video.
Nice new coat!
Great little car, Liked
I agree...I think this car will clean up well
Randy boy good boy shout out from the philippines LINDENBERG FAMILY KEEP YOUR GOOD WORK AND FIX IT OLD CAR
That car brings back memories for me too but mine was a 2014 and bright red your favorite color it was the first brand new car I’ve ever owned
If I were you I would just put the two tires you bought on the back and the other two on front. They are so close in size it should never cause any issues.
I have a 13 Cruze and a 13 Sonic both with the 1.4 turbo. The first shift when cold always slips. The leak is coming from the water outlet. The thermostat is on the other side of the motor. Common issue. They are good cars for someone that can DIY. Valve cover, PCV hose, intake manifold, all common vacuum leaks.
You been working hard today.
Yes I remember your new Cruze as uberman, so proud as a peacock.🦃 And yeah forklift operator is a hard job, sometimes they are completely blind. See all the popped front and rear bumpers flat tyre and a lot more damage. And paying back for them mistakes no way, and they charge any car 400$ buyer fees or more.
that's why i hate loaders they are not careful enough
randy i know a rly cheap hack for that rear one and that is to patch up the tire from the inside and add a tube in it and it works good as new

Randy, I love the red it's an even better Chevrolet Cruze than the Black one you used to own. I agree that it was a wonderful deal so it's likely going to be flipped for some profit. It's an inexpensive vehicle for a person who needs to upgrade anything and it's not under any warranty. So it can have a newer engine when everything is easy to replace. I am a subscriber from 2019 and I love the incredible content, and please keep the incredible work up. You're super funny Randy and I appreciate what your doing by being very funny.
Reminds me of a red Cruze that my mom once rented in late 2016 after hitting a deer in her 2014 Accord. Bright red, black leather interior and automatic transmission. Wasn't really anything to write home about.
My first car was a 2012 chevy cruze LS with no turbo. Had it for 7 years. It was a nice car. Good on gas but the maintenance on it just became a car payment on a paid off car. So I sold it 2 months ago. I miss it, but I don't miss it being in the shop every other month.
Good luck randy.
If you have a workshop compressor, you should pick up a small air receiver tank and just fill that up before you go and have those tyres up in seconds instead of the grinding wait for the silly little electric one to do its thang :)
I own one of these headaches to use the trunk release on the fob the car has to be off
how come you did not ask for the manager of the facility and ask them to look at the tires right when you noticed it, they might make a way to either give you replacement tires or something for the damage the loader did
