Ellis Canvas Tents
I reached out to Ellis Canvas Tents because I was just not too happy with my sleep system. I had seen their products before and was really impressed with the "Cowboy Bedroll". They sent me one to try and can say that so far it is the best I have used for Cowboy Camping.
Soon I hope I can get one of their Canvas Tents

It's a joy watching you work with your mule. You know, I turn 71 next month. I'm still doin pretty well but I've noticed that some things are getting just a tad harder than they used to be. There will come a time, if we live long enough when all we will have is the memories. The people we knew, the things we did, the things we shared. We might not have them but we did have them, and that counts. There are worse things that a fellow could be doing than making a good mule.

Just when you say there is nothing out here to get her hurt you almost end up on your rear end. Sorry for your loss. Death comes to all living things. I would think losing people in our lives would not be so hard . But the ones that are in your heart leave a void friend, family dog, good mule whatever. Time cures all. But the void remains. You do have a good mule. God Bless

@@BrettVaughnB100 Johngriffith610; I lost my German Shorthair. I picked him up on the side of the road. He had worms and I got him cleaned up. What an athelet(good to know AI doesn't know everything). I named him Bullet because, well, you know; I couldn't keep up with him when he broke loose and ran down the busy hiway. He had a good time and promptly jumped into the truck. Jeez. My brother died shortly after an accident. I miss my dog (a lot), but memories of my brother are a few volts higher. Your post got my attention.

Sorry for y'all's loss. A lot of folks don't realize how many good ropers there are in Michigan . I lived in Northern Indiana for a few years and was a member of the Michigan Ropers Assn. ,one of the oldest roping associations in the USA.Chances are that I knew or had crossed paths with your buddy. Some 35+ years ago. True that a person needs to get out of that frigid country in the winter. I'll take my Texas anytime ,it gets cold here but usually not for long , I always say that I sweat a lot better than I shiver .

Both of my girls were in 4 H. Showed horses. Best thing I ever did. My youngest being with horses turned out to be the best thing for her. Gave her confidence and helped her find out who she is. You are right the horses taught her alot of lessons. So when you talk about the training you are doing I know exactly what you are talking about. My daughter took a quarter horse that everyone told couldn't do anything and decided to do dressage. She got her all the way to second level. Not bad for a horse that couldn't do anything. Teila told me one day, Flame didnt know she couldn't do those things. Love your videos.

Don’t hv a horse ( rode them a ton when I was young) I watched my friends horse stand on his hand ; just looking around while my friend was screaming? I did not know what to do? So I said come here ? The horse did and drug him about 100 yards ? I was far off feeding the chickens I think he slipped outta the saddle and put his hand down so he did not face plant? The old horse just backed up on his hand & stood there ? Until he decided to see me and drug my friend along? So no I hv dogs and only hv one old lab now! But I am your age and love to work ( I am a finish carpenter) don’t hv to work but I enjoy it? Fly fish also? But more than anything Brett I remember this is not my home? I am a sojourner in a foreign land ? So one day I will be home and that gives me a lot of joy everyday! Just enjoying life! And I enjoy your channel! Honest ? Your an honest man!

The thing we should do however is to know where we'll go after this life. Salvation through Jesus Christ is the most important decision anyone can make, "now". Not tomorrow because tomorrow may never come. Brett, you will be in my Prayers. And on a brighter note, Bonnie looks great and is doing amazingly well. God Bless you and yours.

They make an actual detangler product that you spray in while brushing the tail it’s much more efficient than waiting for it to soften with mane n tail. Detanglers I’ve had best luck with Johnson n Johnson’s “No More Tears” made for children but works great easily found or equine product “Show Sheen” most tac shops probably Amazon. These products are designed to detangle sure mane n tail works but for tuff tangles the others will produce quicker and better results. Side note keep the show sheen localized to the tail if it gets on the back you will have a tuff time keeping a leg on either side. It will be as Slippery as a 16 year old with a jug of KY jelly . Lol

A hundred years ago, life was tougher but you could work to make it a lot easier, and for the most part evryone saw life the same way.The Bible was the book of wisdom and morals. And for the most part men were free. The fear of God made that possible. One day very soon ,there wont be any more death. For He must rein untill he has put all of his enemy's under his feet. And the last enemy to be defeated,is death itself. Great videos. God help you to do many more.
