I’m an American and I’m voting for Trump for the third time

As a teacher I want to touch on holding parents accountable. I have A LOT of students who have 30 & 40 unexcused absences. One of these students whose mother WORKS at the school let her daughtet stay home for WEEKS because she cut her hair too short!!! This same girl is one who is in the 5th grade & can't even sound out words much less read or write. What's worse, when I pointed out her IQ says she SHOULD be able to do these things mom came at ME basically saying I was being too hard on her daughter. This family, like most that I teach, is an immigrant family on gov assistance. There was a time when families such as these MADE SURE their kids were at school & learning because they wanted them to have a better life but what we see more & more of is almost this sense of entitlement & attitude & the ones who are suffering is the kids...THEIR kids. The question then becomes how do we fight this and get parents to make their child's education a priority? The answer is making the PARENT responsible and hitting them where it hurts. In Texas we actually already have these laws & when we enforced them guess what? We didn't have attendance problems 🤷🏼‍♀️

We can barely think of four or more months of d'rats, let alone another horrible four more years of them. God save us from that fate.😮imo

I am just an old man that worked as a Multicraft in many industrial, manufacturing, and structural industries and the first thing I noticed about the Fransis Scott Key bridge was the lack of dolphins to protect it from a ship collision. My question is, I am just a layman, not an engineer although I worked in engineering dept's my whole life, but why were protective dolphins never erected. I saw couple, but they looked carelessly planned. I too leaned left for years but took a hard right turn some years back when I realized what the cost was. The end cost will be personal freedom. Soon you'll need a travel voucher to travel outside your state and maybe even county.

The federal Corps of Engineers and the Naval Maritime Engineers, and other federal agencies are responsible for planning and safety of the inland waterways. The city of Baltimore has little to do with it other than developing planning ideas for where present and future needs are best addressed to serve the public interest. Don’t be a gaslighter!
