She's my teacher and Adviser when I was in highschool, kitang kita ko ang determination at malasakit ni Ms. Lilia sa trabaho at mga estudyante niya, lagi akong humihingi ng advise sa mga plano ko not only for the school year but also for my plans in college. She's very kind and knowing some of her background story, I know her hardworks will be feature someday, nagtatanong ako lagi dati how's life on Sta. Inez pero lagi niyang sinasabi na okay lang, simple pero masaya at marangal, dun ko siya hinangaan kasi alam niya kung pano pahalagahan ang mga maliliit na bagay. Teacher yung kuya ko, bago sya na tanggap sa pagiging teacher katakot2 na hirap yung pinagdaanan nya, 1st assignment nya almost halfday sya maglalakad bago makarating sa school. Pero hindi sya nagreklamo kasi naaawa sya don sa mga batang hindi nakakapag aral kung walang Magmamalasakit na guro. Until dumating yung time na nagkasakit sya kaya nilipat sya sa mas medyo malapit na school. Pero 2 to 3hrs pa din yung lalakarin nya para marating yung school. PWD sya hindi sya mkapaglakad ng normal pero ni minsan hindi ko sya narinig na nagreklamo, proud pa sya kasi kahit ganun sya nakakaya nya puntahan yUng mga liblib na school sa kabundukan. Tumagal sya ng ilang taon hanggang sa malipat sya sa mas malapit sa bahay namin.. Ok na sana kaso dahil sa ilang taon nyang pag akyat baba sa bundok ngayon nka 4 legged na tungkod na sya at halos hindi na maihakbang yung mga paa, pero tuloy pa din sa pag tulak na matupad ng mga bata ang kani kanilang mga pangarap. SALUDO AKO SA LAHAT NG GURO!! hiling ko lang sana matumbasan din kahit kaunti ang lahat ng sakripisyo nyo... GOD BLESS...

Napangiti talaga ako kay nanay nung sinabi na 6 times 6 is equals to 36 because it symbolizes that education brings the light to the people like her. I love that moment!

I'm a tutor and I can really tell the difference sa mga bata na may easy access sa internet/wifi than sa mga wala. Sobrang nakakalungkot lang na 'yung gustong matuto, sila pa yung walang easy access. Yung may easy access naman, sila pa yung tamad at daming reklamo kasi gusto lang nila na maglaro.

I guess mangyayari talaga yung ganyang scenario. Yung mga mahihirap kasi ay nagsstarve sa education kaya they don't take any for granted. I guess you could say they are curious to new things since they have been starved of it. While the people with access, they take it for granted because they know they can access knowledge every time they need it. Ang gusto ko lang iparating is sadyang magkakaroon ng balance dahil ganyan talaga ata magisip ang mga tao. Wala tayong magagawa kasi sadyang ganyan palagi ang magiging scenario.

I am no wiser than any other pero may we realize na kahit wala pang pandemic, ganito na ang sitwasyon at sistema ng edukasyon sa bansa at pinalala pa ng pandemya kaya naman sana kilatisin natin ang mga iboboto nating lider. At hindi sana magtapos sa pagboto ang ating responsibilidad bagkus lalo pa nating ipadama sa isa't isa ang pagmamalasakit. Love for the country and love for our countrymen. We teachers are really struggling on how we can deliver our lessons to students and on how we can teach them at this time of pandemic. We are grateful there is a docu about the challenges encountered by the teachers. Kudos to all teachers!

I'm a professional teacher, but due to pandemic d Muna nagturo. Isa po ito sa pangarap kong gawin, to be a rural area teacher!. Mabuhay po mga teachers!

Dito sa city, walang teacher na bumibisita. E d pasa at kuha lng ng module. Lahat naansweran kc nga may apps na sasagot😐. Mas marami sa hindi, pag ipasa at kukuha ng module, walang teacher na khit mangungumusta man lng. Open ang empty room at don na kukunin at iiwan ang module. Hindi s akoy nagrereklamo ha, pero kung di sila makabisita e d khit papano mangumusta sa telepono di po ba? Kudos sa mga teachers na khit bundok bundok ang lakad, di pa rin nila pinagdadamot ang pag-asa.

It makes me sad seeing lots of videos on tiktok about how teachers treat their students online. I don't know the back story but seeing these hardworking teachers reaching out for their students is way more hard than teaching online.

That's why being a teacher is not just a work. It is the noblest profession of all. To nurture and mold future minds than can uplift a community & a country into prosperity. Saludo sa lahat ng mga guro!

It's an eye-opener for us students who have access to the things that we need in our online class. It also serves as an inspiration for me to finish my degree so that I can also help other students. What a documentary that will tell you that you must be grateful for the things that you have. Also, if you have the ability to share and help, you should.

Ang kaluluwa ng isang guro ay nakalaan sa buhay ng kanyang mga estudyante. Handa nilang isakripisyo ang kanilang oras, lakas at pag-iisip para lang maturuan ang mga ito. Hindi madali maging isang guro pero ito ang isa sa pinakamagandang trabaho sa mundo na rewarding at may puno ng puso.

Dati akong private school teacher, i decided to apply in public school and i passed! Still waiting for my school appointment. Naging inspiration ko ang challenging education system ng country especially yung mga batang kapos palad. ☹️ I know this is what God wants me to be, a changemaker of this generation. Salute to all Teachers, parents and students na hindi sumusuko ngayong pandemya. ❤️

Nakakatanggal ng stress ang mga documentaries ni ms. Kara. Siya lang ang documentarian na nakilala kong walang kaarte - arte sa katawan, matapang at higit sa lahat hindi ipinagmamayabang ang mga naitulong sa mga tao. God bless po ma'am.

Kita ko ang hirap ng isang guro lalo na sa pag prepare ng mga ituturo nila dahil ang partner ko ay isang teacher. Proud ako sa kanila dahil kahit anong hirap kinakaya nila para sa mga bata. Sana balang araw bigyan naman sila ng rarapat na pasahod para sa kanila.

Inspiring documentaries. Sana Kung sino man Manalong presidente ay mapansin ang mga teachers Lalo na ang mga katutubo

This is a glaring proof that there really are many faces to a story. Behind the privileged and ICT served youths in cities and other provinces are marginalized and segregated children whose parents are victims of circumstances and unintentional ignorance. If there is one thing that truly resonates in this documentary, it is the fact that the government needs to do more in addressing the issues of these oftentimes overlooked minorities. Moreover, equitable support should be provided to these educators who tirelessly walk miles and sacrifice their time just to ensure that no children are indeed left behind. As expected, Ms. Kara's documentary falls nothing short of excellent. We need more fearless and empathetic journalists who bring the poignant stories of our people to bigger screens.

Salute to all the hardworking teachers! This is very inspiring and encouraging. Pero Lingid sa kaalaman ng marami, hindi pa natatapos sa pag-akyat ng bundok at pagtuturo ang ginagawa ng mga guro na naitampok dito. So ironic na pagbaba naman nila ay gabundok din ang mga paperworks na hinihingi ng DedEd. I just wish na mabawasan ang paperworks para naka focus na lang sa pagtuturo. Nakatutok sa de-kalidad na pagtuturo😔

Tama si Ms. Kara, walang kwenta ang mamahaling gadgets at teknolohiya, ang mga infrastracture na pinagawa ng DepEd kung walang suporta sa tunay na haligi ng Edukasyon: ang mga guro. Ito ang katotohanan, masyadong nag paka-IN sa uso ang DepEd, nagpaonline class at DepEd TV gayong alam naman natin na mas marami pa rin ang mahihirap sa bansa na hindi kaya umafford nyan. Ang tanging naisip nyo lang gawin ay ang Modular Learning na sa isip naman natin ay alam rin natin di epektibo.

Para sa lahat ng mga guro na nagsasakripisyo katulad ni MAM LILIA...MABUHAY PO KAYONG LAHAT!!! MANY THANKS to Mam Kara David and I-WITNESS for this wonderful and very timely documentary! We hope the incoming future leaders of our country will properly address these difficult situations of our teachers and students amidst the on going pandemic...
