Hi ma'am, thank you for the insightful video. I had a doubt I needed your help to clear, if I am finishing my masters from UK in Psychology then I work for 2 years and maybe fortunately I do get into dclinpsy but then being an international student I am supposed to fund my whole doctors by myself. Which is not really feasble for most of us and again if I want to come back to India for Phd, my UK one year masters is not valid . So is it worth it to go to UK to pursue higher education if my end goal is to become a clinical psychologist?

Hello. That's a great question. It's true that DClinPsy programs are competitive and some are not relevant for international students due to visa restrictions. In that case, self-funding is an option but that's a huge financial burden so it's important to be mindful of that. What you're asking is a genuine question that revolves in the mind of every international student. Unfortunately, I cannot advise whether you should come to the UK for higher education as everyone's situation is different. What I would say is that it can be difficult to find clinical psychology jobs in the UK though it is not impossible. With a little bit of hard work and persistence, things do work out in the end😊 Hope this helps and best of luck!
