In games like league for example, challengers laugh at low ranks and the community is totally fine with it because it’s deserved. 😅 same for every other competitive game. So even if we talk about rpgs here, some are elitists and they deserve the recognition of the bad players, where is the problem? Me personally tho, I played all soulsbourne games with all achievements before playing Elden ring, you think I was ashamed using mimic tear at a boss I didn’t like? I’ve already proven to myself I’m good at this type of game so I don’t care if I choose the easy way during a boss I don’t like. But I give players the absolute amount of respect they deserve when I see they simply do not want to use the same tool I did. Because they are the better players with better mental lol. People who cry about this in any way are just butthurt. I know my strength and weakness that’s why I’m able to say something like this people should learn this too

The difference between “I will probably choke” and “Guys, I’m really good at this boss” is crazy

Is the hammer margit summons the giant crusher? I just noticed that

Margit is one of my favorite bosses of Eldenring, well telegraphed and has the fell of a tradional boss without all the special effects. Messmer is also great, but his one spam snake attack and some of his visual fire is the only cons.

I found Messmer to be absolutely wonderful, a perfect boss, i didn't fight a boss that much wonderful since Gael. Every single attack he does is readable, you need just one roll for attack, It lets you the time to heal if you need or to attack after a combo but at the same time it doesn't allow you to abuse him with chained loop attacks or permanent hitstuns, since he will jump away and reset after you hit him with some attacks... This allow for a perfectly balanced and fair bossfight, where he won't just aggro you like non-sense (kinda like Rel**** does) but also you can't exploit him easily, so he will remain challenging even with a really powerful setup. Plus he is badass and epic af, he is for sure in the top 3 bosses of all time in my opinion. The only minor weak point is the arena, since it's basic, but you wouldn't notice anyway because the boss is too fucking incredible.

You totally can though, I tried to do an all-parry only playthrough on ER... Most bosses can't be parried whatsoever at all, so it didn't happen, BUT I did kill Margit, and it's all parryable.

Margit took me like 15 tries with upgraded weapons at like lvl 18. Beat morgott in 2 at lvl 60ish.

Welp, I just need to get better at Elden Ring... I went with the Samurai class... My stats: Vigor - 30 Mind - Base stats Endurance - 30 All other stats are the starting numbers... I did get Margit down to half health and then died because I was panic rolling too much...

Get your dexterity up if you want to do more damage with your katana, also certain weapons like Rivers of Blood need Arcane to be at like 15

@@Tazerboy_10 you can see the scaling at the bottom of the weapon description. Whatever attribute scales the highest level that one the most. Vigor is always a great choice for levelling too so keep doing that as well Edit: Katanas always scale well with dexerity so I’d recommend getting that stat up anyway and you will definitely notice an increase in damage. Hope you’re having fun with the game!

I have put my settings to the lowest option. then I went to an open area where I can see lots of buildings up close and far away. I just adjust my settings from this point on. This was a gamechanger for me. And I would advise you to turn off motion blur.
