A life of stagnation leads to depression. There's no reason to get up in the morning, because your will is dead. A life of creation, a sense of purpose leads to an exhilaration for life. My mom committed suicide when I was 11 years old and when she had 41 for her deep depression, she was the best mom anyone could have, my grandpa who was like my father died of lung cancer when I was 15, he died in my arms and you are complaining about your girlfriend? Grow up.

I'm sure everyone knows this but Whenever you are depressed feeling like you are not worth anyone's time or just anything in general, it's like another version of you but darker that you have to defeat. You don't defeat it until you feel happy. I am still in my battle with my depression but I won't quit because I have friends and family to help me with this.

I deal with depression. Yes it can be calculated with science and acknowledged through therapy...but I've always believed it was truly an obstacle. Sometimes it truly is a construct of illusion because my promise and positivity are always available IF I can see through the illusion of doubt, shame, and anxiety. I don't always win but such mentality keeps me trying. Everyone's different BUT we can all find strength in ourselves and each other. Good and bad days end at the same time...tomorrow is just another chance to achieve betterment. We conquer ourselves then we'll find our place in this world.

Think you will find it is. If you accept depression instead of finding everyway to overcome it then you wont get anywhere, you wont achieve goals, you wont enjoy life. As someone who suffered from depression all i can say is its all a mental mindset that people need to overcome
