the answer to the fish question is 8 because it is entirely possible for fish to drown Most fish breathe when water moves across their gills. But if the gills are damaged or water cannot move across them, the fish can suffocate. They don't technically drown, because they don't inhale the water, but they do die from a lack of oxygen.

Fish actually can drown, believe it or not, but sometimes fish use oxygen to breathe. If you've had a fish usually they go up to the surface to get oxygen. So there would be 8 left.
