Hi John, thanks for taking time to check this out! Some great music came out of Chicago during this time period, The NC6, The Buckinghams, The Cryan' Shames, ect. The first concert I ever attended was The Buckinghams in 1967, so I've always loved this type of music. So glad that you liked this my friend. Have a great weekend! We're buried in snow here, lol! @@jrsn2music You're very welcome my friend. Yes, some great bands came out of Chicago, and I always loved this type of music too. I loved The Buckinghams. I have a cover of "Susan" on my channel that I did a while back. It's under the Playlist section in case you'd like to check it out. Wow! Snow already? I'm not looking forward to it here in NJ. I will let a little more info out on this song. When Les and Ronnie were writing it both went back and forth on the lyrics. Here is a tidbit not known…This song was written for Les’s mother who resided with him at 3450 Lake Shore Drive Chicago. I forget the apartment number but they did have door men. 🙂

Nice job. I knew Les Kümmel we were good friends nice and a funny guy. Met him while hitch hiking on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. He lived at a high rise on LSD he also introduced me to Ronnie Rice who at the time was playing gigs at The Lawrence of Oregano in Chicago on Belmont Ave. Les Tragically died in an auto crash. May god bless him.
