I watched the show back in the Blackpool days , I moved to New York in 1990 and moved to Plano in 1993 . Been here since. Its changed so much but still a good place to live. Greetings from Dallas Texas.

I use to watch Dallas when I was a kid but I'd guess it's close to forgotten by now.

I went to the Southfork ranch back in 1997 when my Sister lived in Dallas, very surprised at how small the house was, always looked huge on the show 😂

I used to watch it back in the day lol, that's so cool to see the actual place, thankyou Stephen

Now, thats one place on Earth I'd want to go to. Lucky bugger. LOL

Never seen Dallas the tv show.. way way before my time. Looks a nice place to visit, glad you had a nice time.

Thank you so much Stephen. I used to watch Dallas in the 70's/80's with my Mum, mainstream TV back then. I did dip out, following the awful Bobby death/dream/shower revival. However I later got hooked on the 2012 series. It was a shame it stopped. Although' S2, was respectful tribute to 'Larry Hagman' as he passed away. JR was Dallas! He knew that also! Watching the Antagonist and Protagonist, constant war between JR and Cliff was Dallas. JR and his hilarious, put downs and one liners are hard to beat. The 'Who Shot JR?' was massive mainstream news. Amazing times! Lovely tour. Thank you for posting.

Awww, Stevie what a laugh we had while you "perfected" the theme tune. I'm sure I woke the neighbours up with laughing so loud. Having said that you did a great job, your intro was fantastic. Patrick Duffy has said that the UK made Dallas big for the rest of the world and at one point the BBC had to skip a week because we were an episode ahead of the US. There was always the threat of it going to ITV as well. Proof that America can make a theme park out of absolutely anything. A shame the Coronation Street attraction didn't last in Blackpool though.

Fascinating video Stephen well done👏🏻. Unfortunately I never watched the show however my parents were avid fans and would never miss an episode. I do remember the “Who Shot JR” episode it had everyone gripped. Beautiful ranch it is too and yes I can understand some of the interior scenes were shot on a sound stage, common in the tv and movie world.

I used to watch that program Stephen, great video.

It started off on a Tuesday night, Dallas and Roots, and then everyone went crazy over it and it was moved to prime time slot on Saturday night and absolutely no one could wait to watch it and then everyone was talking about it the next day. Those were the days, everyone watched the same thing. Also mini series like The Thorn Birds. It's just not the same any more xx

Loved dallas back in the day,did not have all these channels we have now,maybe thats why it was a massive hit stephen?

I remember the dream scene it was a bit silly, first time I saw Patrick Duffy he was in the the man from atlans.. and his parents were shot dead in there tavern... Jr's wife was sue-ellen we use to say swelling. Never new they did another series. Thanks for the vlog.

I remember the huge Staircase, curved to the left, nothing like the real interior but fascinating.

Great video Stephen the house is fabulous, loved Dallas back in the day, there was'nt a remake the new version was of JR's and Bobby's sons and girlfriends etc., i thought it was awful.

The bathroom, restroom is done in the Edwardian style known as the guilded era 1901- 1910 but extended longer into George V reign. Think Titanic, big brash, ostentatious. Gaudiness (Bling)and obvious. Think of the same period in Blackpool. ❤Upon your walk in the house it seems to be done in the same style. Hence the expensive lead crystal cut glass on the dining table. I must agree the staircase is less so in terms of impressiveness.

The reason why JR was more popular in his role in Dallas, he was very much loved as Major Tony Nelson in i dream of Jeannie. 1965 to 70 i think it was.

I knew it wasn't Sue Ellen who shot JR, she was always too p**sed to get a good shot in and Bobby was the cleanest person in the show he spent a full year in the shower but then again he was The Man from Atlantis.

I never watched a single episode of Dallas, not my cup of tea. Great video though.
