This year was the first year I missed Midgardsblot. I've attended the festival as both an attendant and a volunteer since the first year. Actually, even before that, as I attended Eidsivablot in 2014, where Enslaved and Wardruna played Skuggsjá, which became the prototype for Midgardsblot the year after. It's easily my favourite festival, what with the amazing location, fantastic selection of bands, and some of the greatest people both working and attending it. I have so many great memories from my years at the Blot, and not being able to attend this year was terrible, for several reasons. But it is nice to see what I missed in videos like this. It's great to see others having a good time. Can't wait to see more. 🤘

I always wanted to go to this event. When I was a promoter I ran the Heathen Crusade Metalfest here in the USA. This festival is what I wanted my fest to be. I hope to go next year. You are amazing sir. Boris.
