Awesome vid! I’m glad you got to see that part of the world. That little kid you bought food for was saying “awaiee” which means “clothes” in Arabic. He wanted you to buy him clothes not food. Still, they need food more than anything and I’m sure his family is grateful their little boy brought some that day. May Allah reward you for your generosity. On a side note: 1) Shwai (2x) means “Slow down” 2) Shwai (1x)= “A little” When they ask if you know Arabic, say “Shwai” just once. If you say it twice (though they understand what you mean) you’re really saying to them, “slow down.”

The people in this video seem so sweet and humble. I love Arab culture and their hospitality. It’s unfortunate that I won’t be able to experience this in my life time being a queer Jewish female who travels solo. You’re very lucky to be able to do this and be met with smiles. I hope one day, we can all live without fear and hate towards each other. I’m appalled by what my country is doing right now and I hate that me speaking Hebrew would just open a whole can of worms. I wish nothing but peace and acceptance to us all. Netanyahu should be criminalized and Hamas shouldn’t need to exist.

I'm not arab but I seen video of a Jewish guy walking inside of a west bank Palestinian city, and he was talking to people and tell them he is jewish and they didn't seem to be bothered. Of course some people will be upset but in his video no one was. The issue of homosexuality is different but as long as you are just talking to them as human beings they won't care what you are.

I always enjoy watching your videos because you represent me. I always feel if you give respect, you get respect. It's that simple. But I can see that sometimes your antenna goes up. But you're so smooth.

You should have spoken about the tragic history of the camps, the Lebanese civil war, Israeli invasion, bombing seige of 1982, the massacre that happened after Israeli army entered .Sabra and shatila massacres. And the subsequent camp wars and siege with the shis militia. It's a wonder that any Palestinians survived all these massacres and calamities
