For your new entertainment center you could find an old dresser and remove the top drawers to place DVD player & stuff. Then, use the remaining drawers to store your movies. That's what I did, lol. I found a great piece at Salvation Army super cheap! Just an idea. Love your content, and you always make me laugh! You're the best!

Good idea! I’ve been keeping an eye out for a sideboard/buffet but I’ll keep that in mind too. I need to remember to bring my tape measure with me because our TV is mounted like 35” up the wall and I need to leave decor clutter clearance 😂

The Ralph lauren vest *chefs kiss* honestly clothes from that brand last a long time. Ive got quite a few pieces I bought at winners/marshalls/tjmax since my size is hell to find at my local triftstores.(the eternal problem of needing 16-18 clothesize) i've never had any problems with pcs from that brand.

Yes its hell-of-expensive in normal stores and there's no way id pay 200$ for one pcs of clothing, but i do manage to find them at winners/marshals/tjmax for a fraction of the cost in my size when the shopping gods are on my side. I wear them a lot, so the cost per wear doesnt break the bank. Ive got this white cotton skirt I wear all summer. And a few dresses I wear year round :)

That reminds me of the time there were these super cool copper mugs as the thrift store, like 6 or them but I only bought 2 because I didn’t wanna spend too much money. Still regret not buying all of them 😭 copper mugs, especially the cute ones, are a rare find.

Omg my husband and I went to a vintage fair a couple of weeks ago and literally the only thing we got was the original Star Wars Trilogy on VHS.

Nice! I love finding things like that, especially with Star Wars since it’s been through so many edits and remasters. Nice to preserve the history! The only copy we had was a digital copy or the original - and I mean ORIGINAL version on a hard drive.

I've started thrifting for supplies now as in buying clothing to cut up, and upcycle into other clothing and/or accessories. I recently made a duster with lots of ruffly accents and some other little details. Also, turned a pair of boot cut jeans into some flared out wearable art jeans. None fit me personally but they were made to sell anyway. 😂 My Goodwills have been dry lately for anything good for personal use, so I'm putting it to a different use instead.

Vests are definitely hard to find. I only find them ever so often. If the store doesn’t have their own designated section you can find them stashed all over! Best sections to look: sleeveless blouses/tops, men’s shirts & suits (where I found this one) Jackets (men and women) - even sometimes women’s vests get stashed in the little boys suit section since they tend to be more cropped. Sweater vests will either be in sweaters or also sleeveless tops.

@@ChaoticWriterRising Yes definitely do! Men’s section also always have good t-shirts, sweaters (grandpacore hobbit vibes) and with this vest it was an item that was mis-categorized as men’s. Even so, sometimes the menswear items like waistcoats, and even formal trousers fit pretty well (and have way better pockets!!).

I still have my old VHS set of the special editions! The box is gold instead of silver. I wonder how much it would go for online 🤔? Not that I'd sell it, just curious lol.

Will you ever make a video of how you dye your hair? Do you have to mix two colors to get that shade you have now? I recently dyed my hair and I was trying to get to a shade like yours. I used a box from sally beauty. I used Ion permanent in 5R Light Red Brown and it turned out too burgundy for my taste. I kept the box so I wouldn’t forget which one I used. I need to do something differently next time. Any suggestions?

I made a video a while ago but since it was a long time ago it’s probably buried. But use a mixture of 2 colors: 7IR Medium Intense Red Blonde (despite the color it is not blonde, looks like a dark cherry on the swatch) and 7RR Intense Red from the Ion Color Brilliance Permanent Crème Hair Color line at Sally’s. 7IR provides those deep cherry red tones and then 7RR is a lighter red copper color so together they have a good balance. When I first did it I did a bleach bath to lighten my hair first because it had been box died a darker red (I wasn’t trying to go dark) but I’ve only lightened it first when it’s dark to begin with. I use 20 volume but I don’t wanna fry my hair so I don’t go higher but that’s my preference.

@@DressMeUpScotty Intense Red Blonde makes so much sense. I was looking online at the swatches and I was thinking to myself that I need to add some blonde or golden something to the mix. But I don’t want to go orange. I want less burgundy, more red but not orange. I had narrowed it down to 7IR medium intense Red Blonde (because it has blonde in the name) , 7RR intense Red, 6R Dark Red Blonde, 6IR Dark Intense Red Blonde and I’m glad to know I had narrowed it down kind of close. It’s so hard to know how to get there when the swatches are not you end up getting. Thanks I will try it in a couple months when I need to try again.

They are washable markers and do rub off easily (to the point where I’ve gotten it on my hands lol). Sometimes they stain but nothing too bad with dawn dish soap.

Why do thrift stores there cellotape stuff and write in huge red marker over items 😅

Yeah good deal for the DVD, was $45 when it came out it was the first time IV, V and VI were on DVD. I am a sucker for Mugs too I don't drink coffee as much as I use to but I love mugs. Love that little side table you found, what color are you going to paint it? I love the jacket gives me a tree vibe. The Special Edition of Lord of the Rings Trilogy movies is awesome not just added extra I think 30 minutes but the behind the scenes stuff too.

Yeah so I looked up the set on Mercari and eBay when we got home and some have it listed for $100-$200 😱 we definitely got a deal. I think it was $15 bucks! Woooo!! (Otherwise I would have stolen the one at my parents house because I know they haven’t opened their dvd cabinet in like 10 years 😂)

@@DressMeUpScotty When we lost my Dad he was our last living parent I saved their original 80s VHS copy of the original trilogy it is crazy. We had Laser Disc of the original trilogy non SE I wonder how much those are worth now. I wonder if the Hobbit Trilogy has a SE like the Fellowship Trilogy. I can't wait to see what you do with the side table it was super cute. I am guilty of not watching my DVD's with having a Amazon Firestick for like the last 12 years or so but I have them for when our internet goes down!
