I went pottery painting and this is what I created 🌸
I’ve been to a pottery painting event a little while ago at the social pottery in London.
Here is my vase from start to finish, and even a few months later I’m still in love and use it all the time! 🌸

What painting is that
How would you remove an error of accidental color on a white part? Before firing of course.

You can just gently take it off with some sandpaper :)

Is this vase made using stoneware air-drying clay? How did you get the glossy finish? I am just starting out and google is helping me 🥲
So do you paint them first and then glaze the whole vase witha another glaze to protect the pain layer under ? Or the pain itself is glazing material?

Once I finished the painting I dipped the whole vase into a clear glaze and then it got fired.

I needed to pay for the vase which was around 30 pounds (but might be more or less depending on what you buy), and then the painting class was (I think) another 30 or so. But again depends on where you go. So not the cheapest but a lot of fun ☺️
