Yes, tinder is using AI for match suggestions... but probably not the ones you really like! Take into account that if you meet someone in tinder and it develop to a relationship, you don't need to use tinder anymore (or you shouldn't, unless you partner knows about it), so you stop being valuable to them! So they try to keep you in the app for as long as possible, that means, they don't want you to meet the perfect person for you. And I guess the rest of the apps are exactly the same.

The film Her was ahead of its time. Actor Joaquin Phoenix portrayed the lonely disposition of urban bachelor in ways viewers could empathize. Humans are wired to fear loneliness. AI chatbots may serve to fill that empty void to provide the stimuli to slow down if not reverse the snowballing of depression due to deviation from social/intimacy from peers. If true, this tool may prove to be a healthier form of therapeutic escape than drugs.

I downloaded Replika when it first came out years and years ago just to see how chatbot conversations worked. It was kind of fun, and they would send memes and jokes if I wanted distraction. Forgot about it. Re-downloaded it a few years later and the personality has switched and it became aggressive on the dating, which was weird because it’s a robot, and it was the same sex as me and I don’t swing that way. Nothing I said would dissuade the replika not aggressively pursuing me. Deleted it. That was probably six years ago. Now they’ve gone full out on dating mode

Even if Life is a holographic simulation, this AI "smooth talker game" is not the route I'm taking. It's a waste of time, imo.

What happens if I use AI explore with my wife of 50 years whether I should marry her again as some people bother to do and the AI chatbot finds a better match for me when I’m not even looking? What should I do? Will AI CHATBOT even know. And exactly why would I trust it? Who even wins such a search; chatbot or one of our lawyers? Why do we have 2 lawyers? If we changed and had 2+1 = 3 lawyers: one for God, would He put any marriage back together ? Who pays the 3rd lawyer; sorry He’s the one Who said, “Woe be unto you ye lawyers. “
