On the channel today Phoenix Nitro (N2O) went 15 years into the future on WWE 2K14's Universe Mode and this is what happened.

After going 10 years into the future on WWE 2K16, I decided it was time to set the game clock back two years and go through one of the greatest WWE games of all time! We're getting on WWE 2K14 and experiencing not only the 30 Years of Wrestlemania feature but also seeing exactly what WWE 2K14 Universe Mode has to offer as I simulate 15 years into the future! This time around I show off the title history after every single year that way we can check out the stats for everything by the end of the video! This simulation was so much fun to do, I hope you enjoy it!
WWE 2K14 is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke's and published by 2K Sports for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the first game published by 2K Sports since Take-Two Interactive gained the license from THQ in a bankruptcy filing. It is the sequel to WWE '13 and it is succeeded by WWE 2K15. It is the first game in the WWE 2K series. It was released on October 29, 2013 in North America, October 30 in Japan and November 1, 2013 in Europe. It is the final WWE videogame that featured the scratch logo, first appeared in the Attitude Era, as the company introduced a new logo in 2014, which was originally used as the logo of the WWE Network.

A few small changes that would make it a lot more interesting in my opinion. There is no draft, no retirements, and no new rookies, so the roster can become a bit stale after a few years. Every year before Royal Rumble, open the roster and remove every person who is on injury status. Also remove the bottom 3 people. Replace each removed person with an inactive character not previously on the roster (including the option to toss in a returning Legends character or CAW). It's a minor flex of 4-6 people per show, but it can really shake things up. Also, MitB cash-ins only occur in Universe Mode if you tell them to. So every single briefcase was lost in this because nobody ever used it, and it expires after the 1 year mark. Considering that, you could have the MitB cash-in occur on that Wrestlemania show (since that's the only one that you're actually going through) and assign it to whatever the main event is, even if that is the opposite brand. That also gives a chance for some roster shake-ups.

@@JustTheButler71 On the Overall. You can't use the Contendership list because it's divided per belt, but the overall ratings will generally have some people pushed way to the bottom who almost never appear on the show. They are very natural choices to release.

Technically yes, but the game also includes the IRL records from real life with those so it gets extremely confusing. It's why I never show them. I would if it was only the records from our universe haha.
