Only Jedi with some degree of a dark side, or with the ability to ignore orders of the council despite all of the innocent deaths, would have been able to survive Order 66.

Revenge of the Sith was the first PG-13 movie to not have any language or sexual content. If they included that full scene and all the other scenes, it would have definitely been Rated R

Despite the dismemberment and the friendly fire of Obi. The chase and battle scenes would have been great in the film.

This is one of those moments where I respect Obi-wan with the stunts he went through during his duels. From holding on to dear life while Darth Maul had the high ground, to the fight with Jango Fett, to the legendary duel with Anakin in Mustafar. His duel with General Grievous was no exception and an amazing duel. But with this deleted scene, I could see Obi-wan having been pushed too far with all the stunts and absurdity he went through. I wouldn’t blame Obi-wan if he thought “Enough is enough.”

The train scene would've worked as a droid supply convoy. I always love how Grievous gives no shits about the droids, so seeing him wreck a whole train of them just to get to Kenobi would be pretty funny/cool.

Honestly the train holding innocents works too since Grievous is sadistic and cares for pretty much no other being in the galaxy except Dooku and Sidious (well just Sidious since Dooku is dead at this point). Running down thousands of bystanders is entirely within his character, but the guy in this vid is right in saying public transportation would’ve shut down long before this happened. But even if it didn’t shut in time, I pity everyone on that trajn 😳

I've always wondered why Greivous didn't just use his metalness when enemies are near him. Like he could just hug some one and use his mechanics to crush them or turn them to mince by swinging his arms or legs.

And some scenes have a reason to be added back in again, I want a Revenge of the Sith special edition completed with obi-wan throwing the blaster away saying so uncivilized after he's done torturing poor grievous and he's like covered in blood and all. Like legit this would be the most hilarious yet fucked up movie ever! Like the movie would just randomly go from 0 to 1000 then back to zero again. It needs to happen.

Fun fact: that brain is a sac. You can see it in the movie when Kenobi hits it with Cody's blaster. It contains all of Grievous's internal organs, so it's really, really disgusting that they went that far.

It would have been so out of character for him, glad they changed it to him just simply shooting grievous a couple times

I think it’s also worth pointing out that since grievous and the train were traveling in opposite directions, the chase would’ve been brought to a halt, as it would’ve basically been the same as grievous driving his bike on a giant treadmill.

No, if you're still inside a train, the difference between your and the train's momentum is 0, which is why you don't go flying everywhere, and can walk inside a train (in which case, you're actually moving faster than the train) so in these regards, this stunt could've definitely been pulled off, as well as his wheel would've been moving waaaay faster than the train.

Even though it’s a bit ridiculous and surreal, I would have loved the train sequence of Grievous just plowing through an oncoming train.

Me: "oh boy I hope some of these scenes are interesting and worth watching" Grievous: *runs through a train Invincible style*

Funny thing is, we don’t see Anakin doing half of this messed up stuff beside the scenes where he kills the sand people and the younglings. He hesitates to kill Dooku and feels guilty. Deleted scene Obi-Wan seems to give zero fucks when he mauls and guts Grievous with his bare hands.

The way he killed greivous honestly was more brutal then almost any other kill I can recall in starwars, and it happened to my favorite character lol. Tbh after seeing this, I'm glad greivous went out against a respectable Obi-Wan.

Grievous throwing clone remains, and the train scene, were extremely brutal, but my mouth dropped open and I was horrified when I saw Obi-Wan throw Grievous' brain out of him and shoot it! I mean, that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever scene! I am so glad this never made it into the movie. That was just so gruesome and ridiculous! It would definitely be rated R.

i don't really see how its different to watching grivious burn to death lowdly

I feel like parts of this would be cool, like obiwan chasing Grievous through the battlefield with blaster fire arcing everywhere. The clone shredder, execution, and fan blades are a bit much but the train scene could be cool if you had context of it being reinforcements or evacuating civilians. All in all, it is pretty obvious why this didn’t make it to film but it’s an interesting concept and the disregard for the clones really highlights the concept of order 66 which is about to occur. Makes it so that the clones aren’t inherently opposed to it as it seems and maybe it’s willing instead of forced.

I think he was originally supposed to be the return of Maul rebuilt as a cyborg as an obvious analogue to what would later happen to Anakin. Think about it, if a double lightsaber didn't stop Obi-Wan then surely FOUR of them will! Makes sense and would tie the prequels together a bit more Pity they didn't go with that concept

Grievous being maul rebuilt as a kind of proto-vader is something that was heavily rumoured leading into episode 3 and may have been considered at One point

@@IaMaPh1991 I’m personally glad they didn’t. I like Grievous’s existing backstory with the Kaleesh, Huk, and the bomb planted by Dooku and Maul’s return in season 4, the arc with Death Watch, the Darksaber, Savage, Dathomir etc is some of favorite ever SW content. Not to mention the Siege of Mandalore and Maul’s final duel with Kenobi in Rebels
