Watching this, I feel like Sumail is a professor in Dota 2, the researcher kind of professor, the ones that do not have the best way to explain something, but he is really good at it. It feels like he’s on a completely different level.

The thing that I'm impressed about Sumail's explanation is that he doesn't focus on his own playstyle or just that particular game, he just boils it down the very detail of DOTA itself. Such insane understanding of the game, no wonder he's a genius of his own art.

GH came into my mind when Sumail mentioned trusting your supports to know what they're doing. With or without communication, GH is certainly one of the most reliable supports in the scene right now. Kuro may have other things going on with him right now but he's still considered to be one of the greatest supports of all time. With that being said, I think Sumail is at the very least in a decent spot right now. Who knows, they might win the next Major or TI.

Regarding it being inaccessible, I think that if we view what Sumail is saying as similar to studying literature in your university class, we know it takes reflection and interpretation to understand. It's this assumption that everything should be immediately accessible without thinking and without knowledge, but this just isn't going to be the case when you're trying to get into the head of how a master understands something. Beginners should be happy if they are able to implement just 1 thing he suggests and the rest is about coming back to the video and thinking about it over and over.

  • @hwago123

He could potentially contest the small camp as Lina. It’s a very common move, if you’re winning lane, you contest the small camp, which forces the enemy to go deeper into the jungle, and then missing out on any lane creep CS and exp whatsoever. It’s a bit riskier because because the enemy supports can try to punish this move with a rotation, but you can just check the miniMap to see if they’re in lane, and it’s not like you’re diving under tower, so it’s not super risky.

While I’m a 10 year veteran, mid main, I still learned some stuff, or at least was reminded to play attention to some things more than I normally do. For instance, thinking about the side lanes and being able to anticipate enemy rotations based on how they’re doing, as well, as asking for rotations if the lane can afford to have a support leave. It also effects how I ward for myself mid, which is crucial.

This is super interesting as a morphling player for me. Morphling is kinda even worse off against sf than void spírit, because morph has less rightclick damage, less nukes, less movementspeed than sf in lane. So basically the only way you can really win against a mid SF is when he does mistakes or really just plays bad. Other than that mid SF is pretty much stronger in every aspect than morph in the first few levels. So this might apply also for my morphling plays in the future, I'd just rather focus on regen items(maybe even mobility, like a windlace) and generally "damage control" by not feeding and still getting as much farm out of it as possible.

What is ur opinion on placing mid ward after time 00:00, so u have controll on 6 min power rune which is very important, (also sf died coz he didnt have vision before 6 min timing), So i always place ward after that time + sentry, but i noticed high mmr players put the ward on the begining and then it expire before 6min. Which option is better ?

You bring up a good point. Topson often places the ward after 0:00

The funny thing is, u can learn all of this but it’ll always be a million times more impactful if ur team also knows what to do.

Honestly this would be so much better if I could question what he says, because some of what he says seems inaccurate, or maybe I’m just wrong. For instance, saying he will always have full mana as Pangolin, even after making a move, is not accurate. His hero is not quite as mana intensive/reliant, so he doesn’t have to go base. He can fill refuel with runes and a bit of regen, but so can storm.
