This show is really good it gives me an a scott pilgrim vs the world. Don't believe me look at the animation of this show.

Anyone would bet that by the end of the show that she no longer needs the bangle. Bruno said the power is really coming from within her so we'll probably have a scene where she loses the bangle somehow and discovers she doesn't need it. Scary Grandma at the end probably doesn't need it either or she would have just taken it.

8:06 I think it depends on how marvel designs the property of the “hard light”, If the "hard light" solid is supposed to emit light, then depending on the surroundings, even if it is "completed", it might still not cast any shadows or might even have a brighter glow

Correction for 00:35 about the 'Darth Vader' sticker - that is not Darth Vader, that is actually Rocket Racoon. I can see where you can make the mistake - but if you look closely you can see 2 circles that are the ears, removing Vader as an option, there is then tan and white colours at the top and bottom respectively, with black on the sides which which is more consistent with Rocket - in order to stay with the hero theme, as opposed to Mickey Mouse or another character. There may be some more details I'm unable to discern because of the image quality and seeing reduced range of colours so some things may be blending for me.

Well I agree the scene with the kid falling isn't exactly the most well-written part of the show so far I absolutely love the fact that she fumbled the rescue so hard. This automatically makes her a better character than Carol Danvers in the MCU. This depicts an incredibly human part of the superhero that we didn't see with Captain Marvel. The problem with Captain Marvel is that Carol Danvers was automatically perfect in had a complete understanding of her powers the second she had access to them. So far Kamala Khan has been struggling just like Spider-Man in the first Tobey Maguire film. This automatically makes her character way more relatable then Carol Danvers. Captain Marvel is the definition of a Mary Sue, Kamala Khan very much is struggling to become the hero she wants to be. This already makes her an incredibly relatable, Charming, and a charismatic protagonist compared to someone like Captain Marvel. I was going into the show expecting something really bad and walked away thoroughly entertained. 8/10. A score I am surprised I actually ended up giving the show.

To be fair, she knew how to use the photon blasts since she always had them even before fully unlocking her powers. But even so, she was still struggling to control them, as shown in the scene where she was fighting the Starforce. The only thing she was immediately perfect at was flying

The scene at 4:55 is new to the MCU but very common in Bollywood movies and since Kamala is huge fan of Bollywood movies, she imagined this scenario in a Bollywood romantic movie way. This is really great attention to detail by directors

I'm on the opposite side honestly, for some reason I'm more invested than I ever was back in Phase 3. This is perfectly understandable my friend, my suggestion is that you take a little bit of a break from the MCU. Give yourself a 2 to 4 months without the MCU and come back and see what's been going on. If you're interested again you can pick up right where you left off and if you are still not interested that's still okay too. You can drop Marvel for about 2 years or something, and then come back to see if anything's improved. Don't force yourself to watch any of these things my friend, or else you're not going to enjoy as much as you could.

Incredible job, as usual! I noticed the shadows, as your breakdowns have caused me to pay more attention to that kind of stuff. I didn't have many expectations for the show (coming after MK), and the plot of the first episode was kind of a clichè, but the second episode + your breakdown have made me so much more enthusiastic!

Being from Belgium, I'm very proud of Adil & Bilall directing a Marvel series. I was even more hyped seeing them both doing a cameo in this episode. Adil was the guy on the right when the men turned around because Kamala and Nakia interrupted the ceremony. Bilall was the one taking the selfies in the "Mosque Bros" group during the festival.

Another cheeky detail that many people missed is that in the end credits, the song playing was from a pakistan band called Coke Studio, and the song name was "Piche Hut". This is an urdu phrase which means "Get Back". This could have a deeper meaning showing us how Kamala wants to live a normal Muslim life, but it is made difficult by her surroundings, and how she overcomes them in this episode with he new found confidence.

It would make sense that there is no shadow from the hard-light, it is light after all. I know there are ways to create a shadow from a flame if you use a powerful enough flashlight, but you need quite a bit more light singing onto the flame in order to make that work. In other words, it's correct to see there is no shadow from the brighter hard-light in the alley
