I was waiting for this #SLK
The one thing I can’t deal with in any dramatisations about him is they always overdo the ‘childlike’ thing and turn Michael into a caricature. Michael was childlike, but not in a simple way, and they always make him seem like he’s ‘simple’. Ugh, not sure how to explain it. I hope Jafaar is able to channel the real Michael, which you’d hope with him actually knowing him🤞🏼

@nigelshepherd6123 If he was childish, he wouldn’t have bought the music catalogue, sacked his dad (especially as he was barely out of childhood at that point!), or made shrewd and innovative business and career decisions. Though I imagine his childlike-ness gave him a different view of the world and made him think outside the box.
I liked this movie didn't think it was bad at all and it actually made me tear up, the actor who did Michael was very good, it was based on what his bodyguards said and for them to say all that about him just shows he was a good boss and a kind person, I never comment but just wanted to let you know I love your reactions to Michael Jackson ❤ you should react to some of his interviews!! It's so sad that he created Neverland that was his safe space only to spread joy and happiness for all the children only to be dsstroyed and he had to abandon it 😢😢 just imagine still being called a child mol*ster and horrible names even after being proved innocent!! O BEM VENCE NO FINAL. Eu não penso que ele tenha partido não. Ele apenas precisou "desaparecer" para recuperar a própria vida de volta. Fun fact: Michael actually knew all of New Edition since they were little. That’s how Bobby and Janet got close. Bobby actually said he taught Michael how to do the moonwalk. It’s possible since Michael first saw and learned the move from some kids on the street and Bobby did start out as a battle and street dancer.

Michael didn't learn the moonwalk from street kids. He lied. That man had never been to the ghetto and James DeBarge, who was Janet's first husband and lived with the whole family during the 80s, has receipts of this. Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar taught Michael the moonwalk after watching him do it on tv. Back then it was called the backslide. Michael changed it to the moonwalk. Michael also stole his style of dancing from the 1974 film "The Little Prince".

Did you know that Navi, the guy that played Michael in this movie, was actually Michael’s body double when he was alive from the early 90s to late 90s? He was used when Jackson wanted to flee from the paparazzi or do something fun. He had surgery to look like him and was a big fan. They were also really good friends and Navi performed for Mike for his 45th birthday and Mike gave him a standing ovation after he performed Smooth Criminal.
The actor is Trinidadian, who looks indian. I personally would’ve never cast another race to play Michael but I’ll take it since it’s an lower budget tv movie and the dude knew and impersonated Michael.

Mike did know he was going to die , LaToya said it too bc he told her also. Tupac knew he was going to die also and he was always fearless. MLK knew he was going too. One thing they all have in common is that they all spoke nothing but truth. Mike talked about healing children. Tupac talked about society and how their against black people. MLK was abt the community and was trying to make it right. The world can’t handle the truth clearly . So they took the people we needed in this world away from us. Also Michaels crime scene isn’t really what it seems…it’s photos of the scene and there’s blood, a knife and a cut up white tee. Obviously sb isn’t saying something. P.S. this is ALL coming from a 14 year old 💁🏾♀️.

@@sl_1k I like the long version of "Ghost" You get to see Michael play 5 characters.
I knew about Michael icing out his brothers because Jermaine even said that after Thriller he saw Michael once a year! I lost a lot of respect for Jermaine after he wrote a song called "Word to the Badd"! I heard that after the second trial he distanced himself from alot of people. But yes, I did hear stories in which his family had to make appointments in order to see him!! It's interesting what you said about the money situation! When you are famous there are alot of problems but I guess you have to the right people in order to make it!!
I'm going to tell you a few things about the jackson Brothers. Michael iced most of them out especially after the successes of thriller and bad because they turned into money funnels for Joe Jackson. Joe Jackson was bailed out by Michael personally around 50 million dollars in 10 million dollars pieces. Your probably asking how would I know that I read alot of books about the Jackson's and especially paid attention to the ones written by jackson members. Katherine was another part of it so around once or twice every 3 months he would attend an event maybe host a family event but he rarely met with them privately. Don't get me wrong in times of crisis they were a strong unit but when the storm would pass Michael would be paying child support for kids that aren't his. So his mom was welcomed without hesitancy but the majority not all because he had such an appreciation for Jackie Jackson hes the only brother that he left anything from in his will or instructed to convert his share of Jackson 5/the Jacksons royalties to Jackie Jackson. I even read the book this movie is based on. And after reading the book this movie is based on you will never ever catch me saying anything bad about those three bodyguards in his final years from 2007-2009. It's truly rare finding people that actually care for the person not the persons money and its sad but alot of Michael's story represents that But to best explain your questions about Michael's money it was like this. He owed Sony 2 albums of fresh content that they were hell bent on getting. Also Michael invested heavily in song publishing catalogs which allowed him to have wealth on paper but Michael's cash assets dried very fast so when your rich you go to the bank and take out loans against your assets. Well banks were concerned that Michael wasn't doing his end. So they put more and more limitations on his own money so there was money going out faster then it came in. Including from his assets like the Beatles catalogs. So when your business is music you have only 2 options make more hit record and go on tour to promote the albums. Michael's last official tour was in 1997. He played small shows. And after 2005 when Michael was facing 40 years for crimes he would never even think of the advice Michael was given literally was its time to give up neverland or they will literally keep trying to put you in jail. So when you got the threat of imprisonment Michael also chose to leave Sony Music. So Michael needed fresh money from somewhere and the last option for both new record labels and new funding to pay off debt was touring but it was never going to be 5 shows a night it was going to be 50 shows stretched out an 18 month period in one city London and Michael asked for a 2 or three show a week maximum which aeg gladly did. Michael wanted to go back on tour for his fans his children and to retire and never to return to the stage again. But it was going to be like 4 cities at max. And he had an opportunity to make 500 million dollars.
