Throughout the rest of the MCU Hulk had objectively better strength feats in every single movie he was in than this one lol. If your qualifications for what makes the Hulk the Hulk is how low his bodyfat percentage is, Hulk isn’t even drawn this dickskin lean like 90% of the time he’s existed as a character.

Yeah, certain versions of him did, anyway. The classic "Savage Hulk" wanted exactly that. It seems as the Hulk became smarter, his desire to fight increased. All Hulk wanted to do during the World War Hulk arc was beat people down. lol

Comics fans always complaining this is MCU. They have their own version of the characters. Plus the comics is also inconsistent depending on who is writing it. They either make the characters weak or strong or add some more bullshit power up only because the title is incredible hulk etc.. "Oh in this other comic hulk can do this blah blah but on the other comic who is a dffirent writer hulk can create blackholes blah blah" You can never really have an accurate answer.

Loved this version on hulk. Wasn't as powerful as avengers hulk but acted more like World War hulk, which is arguably the best hulk

I always found this version of the Hulk to be the closest to what I've always imagined Hulk to be. He's essentially a loner who is constantly hunted and disturbed. He gets pushed and he fights back so, naturally, he's the bad guy. The "Leave me alone" and the menacing intensity of his low frustrated growl in the bottling company says it all.

This movie has introduced a question to me about combat, that I have been trying to answer for some time. "Is it possible to effectively use 2 shields in combat?" The strength and stamina required to use them is no problem for the Hulk, but the offensive capabilities are totally different compared to normal weaponry. Does having a shield with sharp edges allow the user to chop down on enemies like guillotine blades, be fast enough on par with axes and large swords? etc

I love the videos and really appreciate the amount of work that goes into creating them. The attention to detail is uncanny! But I can't help but bring up the fact that you mentioned Rick but missed Doc Samson who receives his abilities through radiation exposure while working alongside Hulk as Bruce Banner.

Am I the only one who’s noticed the 180 shift on views of this film, before nobody seemed to care about this film, suddenly it’s one of the positively viewed for the hulk

I love this Hulk but honestly, the CGI is the only thing that's stopping it to become great. It was just a bit too polished and cartoony imo. Ruffalo's hulk felt like a more realistic version but I must say this Hulk was real BEAST.

This is the best Version of Hulk. The Actor ( Edward Norton) played the role extremly good, that's why many people ( also me) like this movie so much. Thats a Hulk that we wanted to see in the Avengers Movies.

The sonic cannon that is in war machines suit that you mentioned at the start is also used by tony’s watch in civil war when bucky is under zemo’s control after him, steve, sam and tchalla all got arrested. He uses it before bucky fights tchalla on the way to the helicopter that steve grabbed.

In the comics, many time when the hulk is attacked he's usually asking to be left alone. Usually he fights because he's angry that no one will leave him alone. And even as the hulk he rarely ever kills anyone. he usually fights so that he can escape to places where he thinks that he won't be bothered. But that's a cycle that keep being repeated since they never really leave him alone.

No, the Hulk always wants to be left alone. That's pretty much what defined the Hulk in the earlier comics. He eas running from the military even though he could have just flattened them. On top of that Hulk was usually shown having an affinity for nature. You see him walking with deer and birds landing on him etc.

In my opinion the guy in the college being the same guy that teaches peter in the future has got to be the most unique continuity detail even if it's not claimed to be

I love these details, it shows that even though not all the movies are perfect, lots of Care was put in to show us the filmmakers take their job seriously.

@thecanadianlad when banner (hulk) says "leave me alone" it's an enormous detail because I am watching the Spanish version and he says "dejadme en paz", so it's not something to let pass but they manage to translate the grunt too (at least here in spain)

Even though this video was uploaded 3 weeks ago , I decided to watch the movie since I really wanted to watch your video plus I remember watching it was when I little so I didn't really remember much . I also watched the Hulk movie before The Incredible Hulk . I want to say wow this movie is super underrated ? Which is crazy!? I wish I had watched this before when I did my MCU marathon 😪. It ties into the mcu avengers perfectly and I love the little camo at the end 👀 👌 🙌.

I love that I've known all of these since 2008, haha. Still, a fun video. Been a Hulk fan all my life, and in my opinion, this is still the definitive Hulk movie. It nails the duality of Hulk and Banner, and plays off the iconic fugitive angle very well.

I liked that Marvel retconned Martin Starr's role in this movie, where his character is a younger Mr Harrington during his college years. Similar to what they did with Peter Parker in Iron Man 2

When he screams to the lightning, it's a reference to 2003 hulk, where absorbing man was his father and his main form was the lightning one

This movie is over hated. That last detail really makes sens as the former student would become a teacher
