Pewdiepie's letsplay series hit the reboot button and then a combination of Lore based SMPs, 100 days videos, and manhunts kept it afloat until around now where it's still popular enough to stay mainstream but has calmed down now. Still way more popular than the Dark Ages which was like 2015-2018.

Minecraft was really popular from 2009-2012, but then Minecraft had several small updates that no one really liked, and Minecraft lost popularity and was looked at as a kid’s game. 5 years later, in 2017, Philza, a streamer, died in his 5-year old hardcore world, and Pewdiepie started his let’s play series, which gave Minecraft popularity again. Minecraft started to introduce better updates, such as the ocean, nether, and Caves & Cliffs.

As a photographer, it would have been fun to see Peter McKinnon on this set. Besides that, this was pretty fun to watch, even though I’m not subbed to most of these people.

I think the main reason Minecraft randomly became popular out of nowhere was that after a long time of bad updates they added like 3 great ones in a row

Logan Paul: No Jake Paul: Still No KSI: Call me crazy but I don’t watch him Dude Perfect: I prefer ‘That’s Amazing’, although I haven’t watched his videos in a while. NigaHiga: I’m just glad his name isn’t how I thought it was pronounced 😅, but idk him Smosh: I’ve seen a part of his video, and he’s pretty funny. Ray William Johnson: I used to like watching his Short Form content until it started cutting randomly and not finishing The Video leaving me to question what would have happened next for my whole life. I’d prefer his full videos that aren’t shorts. Mark Rober: I watch him, I remember watching one of his glitter bomb videos and getting obsessed with them.
