Yeah, fans of theorized that fleabag started "breaking the fourth wall" which is an artistic license for dissociating after Boo died. Which is why when someone is really really watching her like the Hot Priest does he can visually see her dissociating when it happens. No one else in her life pays enough attention to her to realize that this might be happening. And dissociation is a pretty common coping mechanism for trauma ....so it makes sense that she started doing it after Boo died and she does not do it before that trauma happened. Good eye! Not many people catch that.

That menopause monologue...and just all of the writing is so superb. Just a suggestion for a good follow up show for this one, I'd suggest looking at Broadchurch. It's a different genre, but there are a couple of cast overlaps, and stellar writing and performances from another UK show, which could help your algorithm in getting into a niche.

I feel like part of why Claire is so conflicted about Flea is because EVERYONE likes Flea better (even when they don’t). Claire’s own husband, even Claire herself. And there is so much love there but there is also this troubling sense of guilt and envy that she doesn’t know how to express. I love Claire it’s just her journey takes a while.

The fact that your reaction to the "kneel" thing was that's creepy instead of that's hot is the ultimate green flag. I don't think tbe priest is really 100% to blame since he is drunk and what ensues is consensual but it is worth noting that confession is a highly volunerable thing and he really shouldn't have done what he did, even if it was what both of them wanted.

I don't know, confession is supposed to be anonymous and it's already just two drunk friends hanging out. If they talked about their feelings and then he kissed her it would be the same thing, the setting just adds interest to the plot.

Oh My I was literally thinking of buying the same glass you're drinking from, but with a slight inky blue tint, a few hours ago at a store and now I'm regretting not buying it Incidentally, Fleabag dropping the glass sculpture always makes me laugh for like five full minutes Can't wait for your reaction of the last 2 episodes
