Costa Rica gets easily confused with Puerto Rico, Cuba etc but if you are in either coast it does feel like an Island.

Well if the Nicaraguan canal is ever done then technically Costa Rica will be an island, because it will be surounded by water (both oceans and two canals)

I moved to Costa Rica four years ago and I love this place.

For Costa Rican residents this is the most outstanding experience video someone has ever done, despite the flaws this country has, you knew how to show the most beautiful aspects. I hope you visit us again, there are a lot of places to go.

Kevin Radowits ... Great vacations do not translate to a great place to live. Soon Soo soooo many people do the same and so so soooo many regret it and leave a year or so later with a bad taste in their mouths. Do a longer trial visit. Don't do tourisy things. Live normal and see. A vacation is not life here.

I remember going Manual Antonio. The zip lining, the airplane restaurant where u could go into the cockpit, and the waterfall. I stayed at the El Faro Hotel, amazing view. Best trip of my life so far

As a puertorrican that has visited Costa Rica, I don’t get why people from CR get annoyed with the confusion. Both are beautiful countries with very happy and friendly people, awesome beaches and rainforests. When I was there, some places I visited looked a lot like home. Maybe the confusion starts with both places having RICO-RICA in its name. Just take advantage of that situation, educate the people about both countries without complaining like you’re offended to be compared to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

I spent five weeks in Costa Rica at the beginning of 2020. I absolutely loved it. The people were so friendly and helpful , and the nature was incredible and breathtaking . I put 5000km on my rental vehicle in about 5 weeks and do not regret it at all. A giant playground with some of the most wonderful people.

Well this is surprising. I recognized your face and I instantly remembered you from your trip to Iceland very recently, and I see you travel around the world, so it is a surprise finding this video today and knowing that you put our country in your top places. As a costarican I'm so used to this place that I forget how beautiful it is until someone from another country reminds me. For a lot of people getting the opportunity to enjoy these beauties takes a lot of time, and planning. For us, it's just a matter of saving a few colones and taking a bus to spend the weekend. I was at Pavones Feb of 2016 but did not surf that wave. I did surf Pilon, just in the bay a bit. It is the 2nd longest left and much less crowded. The rocks are smoother too.

I remember I came to united states and never been home. Been trying to find jobs out there and trying to get out of the struggle out here and watching this made me feel joy.
