I have cerebral palsy aswell. I used to volunteer at a health and rehab center for people with dementia. One lady asked for me to get her a hot chocolate. I had to walk to the opposite end of the facility, grabbed the hot chocolate and started making my way back to her. With each step hot chocolate flew out of the cup, I got rather discouraged by the time I made it back to her the cup was half full. She beamed at me and said it was the perfect amount. I'll never forget that.❤

When falling several times per day is a common occurrence, getting out and doing things is a lot harder. It has nothing to do with allowing your disability to control aspects of your life. Spit happens.😢

My father in law and his twin brother both have cerebral palsy- they are an extremely tiny % of twins born to both have CP. my FIL never takes a shortcut or makes excuses. So happy I found your channel.

I know without a doubt I would! I have an obvious disability and have to use a scooter in stores and I absolutely swear that every time I go shopping at least 2-3 people ask me if they can help me 😄 There are a few wonderful people in this world STILL🥰😁😘

She is my HERO. I remember before I became fully wheelchair bound and facing mountainous things like this. All the mental planning to make sure you don't fail is really hard for others to comprehend.
