Not always. I once received a necklace which was clearly *very* different to its' picture and was also a cheap knock-off (I ordered a branded one). The seller blocked all contact. I contacted ebay and said the seller was selling fake items and that it differed to the photo and they told me (although I provided them with the photos), that to prove that, I had to hire a professional "judge" who looks at the necklace and writes a statement about it. Only then they could decide, if I could get my money back. (Note: the necklace was like 30 bucks and getting these judges statements is like 300 bucks)

Sellers like this tend to have bots that leave realistic good reviews or they'll offer gift cards or something to people they actually sent what they asked for. Theres sellers on Amazon that are scalping GPUs rn for over twice the original price and they all have thousands of outstanding reviews when all they do is scam people.

You should not have blurred the seller. Expose him!

They never intended to send them as seen in the photo. Take a photo, remove all the likely working parts, send everything else, and hope they don't want their money back or believe the line about waiting for the check to clear.

with the SE logic board snapped it actually wasn't a SE look at the battery connector. on the SE its only a 2 pin connector not 3

I don’t get why sellers still try to scam buyers on eBay. Buyers ALWAYS win disputes when it comes to wrong items and sometimes buyers get to keep the original item for free. eBay has a lot of buyer scams however which is why I stopped selling there and switched to eBid but I still buy all my stuff on eBay because of the large selection of things (I also fix a lot of iPhones) and the prices are always good since a lot of competition balances prices

Random22 It’s possible if the main components on logicboard not broken. Require specialise microsoldering skills transfer to another board. But for value of mobile Vs time to repair not worth it. Only worth if job for data recovery.
