I WAS RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED IN A STORE AND MY HUSBAND DID THIS AFTER // Worst Day Of My Life 💔🥺

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS COMING BACK TO WATCH OUR VIDEOS❤️. This was the first time for me to experience this kind of racial discrimination since i came to FRANCE and this doesn’t mean that all French people are like this… i have met very nice and kind French people that i can now call my friends. LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT MY HUSBAND DID AFTER THIS HAPPENED IN A STORE??? #interracialfamily #interracialcouple #familyguy #bwwm

The same thing happened to me in a supermarket called Supermax in Cidra, Puerto Rico. I felt horrible and violated! They found a seaweed snack in my bag that my friend had sent to me from South Korea, and I had to stand there after they checked my bag, as they went around the shelves to make sure they didn't have that same snack in their supermarket. The snack is not even sold in mainland US, let alone in this tiny town in Puerto rico. Unfortunately I was alone and it left me with such a bad taste, I have never been able to go back...PTSD. I drive so far to avoid this store. It is truly sad to just assume someone is a thief because of color.

Never separate yourself from your bag, it should be in your hands at all times, even on inspection. Your bag only parts from you from Police or immigration officer. She assumed you are a thief, you have right to refuse inspection and ask for Police to be called. She could have plant drugs in your bag or an item. Do not word exchange with this kind of people insist on Police call or say I will call the Police for inspection. Read up on the law and challenge this kind of people. The other thing is asked her to check the cameras. Our skin is not a crime, they know they are wrong.

There is only 1 solution. Visit the store with 10 to 15 other (black)people, all with a backpack. Go to the back of the store an walk straight back to the check out. Don't say anything. Take out all you have in you backpack. Make sure it's filled with all kind of stuff. As much as you can. Take your time and put everything one by one on the counter. Even if nobody ask you to check youre bag. Don't forget to also put your cold handkerchiefs. After that, take your time to put everything back in your backpack. This will take about 30 to 45 minutes. Than the next one in the group do the same. Make sure that no custumor stands between you in the line to pay something. If there are more checkouts, spread an take you time. Guess what will happen. I don't think they will ever ask such a thing. Make sure that when you all go, the shop is very busy.

Ann, sorry about the way you were treated.peoples' personalities differ dear baby girl, however, any business owner who does not accept critism is not forcused on expanding their business by uplifting or changing their bad acts.As an individual,i am happy having let the store owner know about it cos this can give him or her an insight of how their employees need much of in-service tranings or sensitization on customer care for their business uplift.thx for lewey standing by your side.its really encouraging as a couple.pole❤

@@LEWEY137 If that was your first experience of racism consider yourself lucky. Try dealing with racism at age 9 even tho I spoke the same language I struggled to find the words to defend myself when I was accused of stealing an Item from a classmate. The accuser and her mother searched my person and my school bag outside the school gate and found nothing the contents of my bag were thrown to the floor, I pick them up and went about my business feeling hurt confused and embarrassed as not everyone present knew that I was wrongly accused. I'm grown now and the only difference is that I'm articulate and confident enough to fight my own corner. People migrating from Africa don't have to live daily with racism and when they come to Europe, America, UK Canada, Australia and other countries they are always SHOCKED when faced with racism. The reality is this, in those very countries let us not forget that they had to iintroduce laws to restrain themselves from their own racist actions. Once you acknowledge that you belong to a race of the most hated people in the world nothing comes as a shock once outside of Africia expect racism anytime anyplace & from anyone. fact

I had a simular experience in Austria 20 years ago when I just areived and could not speak German. I was not suspected of theft. But the disrespectfullness infront of other clients was too much. She even threatened calling the police to get me out. I went to the Internet and detailed the event. They appologised sincerely and told me she had been seriously warned and that they had used my complain to caution their workers. When I went there the next time, the same lady was evidently trying to right her wrong by giving me unnecessary attention. I knew the warning actually got to her

You guys absolutely did the right thing. I would have taken it one step further and ask to speak to the owner and get contact information for them and let them know exactly what happened. At the end of the day, any employees there are representing the business of the owner and maybe he or she does not want their business represented in that negative light. I'm glad you stood up for yourself. It is only by speaking up and allowing your voice to be heard that this nonsense will stop. Too bad she wasn't there so you could make an example out of her!
