Tamima we need part 2 kindly, am at gulf one year now and happy, I think househelps go through alot unlike us , so many people have been successful here with persistence tolerance and prayers. If one can get a different job apart from being a maid, Dubai is not a bad place to be.....I won’t mind coming back after my contract is done!

4years here and am grateful

I can relate, I worked in Unilever earning a meagre salary of 7500kshs on a 6 months renewable contract the contract was ending then I decided it was time to leave Kenya, I had tried and failed I needed something much better .. My 1st stop Dubai a salary of 35k from there I moved to 100+kshs after a short while ... Life is all about risk but my advice to many young people if you don't have anything which can keep you in Kenya then try outside but know that it's not easy... What let most people down is the expectations, but learn to start from somewhere and grow

Reading all these suffering makes me appreciate the country I live in. If life in those countries becomes unbearable just go back home. It is not worthy losing your life for.

Thats why its so important Africa get united and deal with inter african trade so we dont have to put up with these kinds of situations.
