I can literally relate to his story with a similar experience, even though not on death row but at the age of 20 I was sentenced to 25 years in UAE prison and deported back to my country. I had sold the drugs directly to an undercover agent not knowing, but the twist was that one of my best friend set me up for money. My happiest moments at prison was once a week the guards lets some people out to the compound to throw away the thrash, I would always pick the trash and be the first person in row so that I can just see the sand, rocks, feel the wind, shining stars, the moon and sometimes a cat, that would make my day. When I got out finally and they left me at Dubai airport wearing a torn pants and an old flip flops, you see all around you the people from all walks of life and ethnicities, the smell of fresh coffee, bakeries and spices hits your senses and your brain so confused with adrenaline and euphoria rushing, and there far away to the gate you see your mother and everything around you stands still and fades, you run to her and hug her like a 5 years old kid, thats the best memory of my life ever. Prison is a university, it taught me and made me the person who I'am today. Alhamdulillah!

Zee is a great guy and he has truly come a long way after this painful, sad, but powerful, Faithfull, and character-building story, couldn't have been happier when he said that he does not regret it which shows he's in a good place, cause as I always say, no matter the past hell you have been through, if you can make your present like heaven, you will believe that hell was nessasery to be where you are today.

I was never tortured granted i did my time in during covid but it was honestly a really good experience to socialize with friends play games joke around and exchange stories during lockdown and i felt very isolated when i got out still during lockdown made me miss my jail homies still in contact with a few
