@@thechessnoob9667 I know you didn't ask for my help at all, so take this advice with a grain of salt. As a girl, I know I wouldn't like it if my boyfriend/husband/fiancé didn't let me talk to anyone. I would advise you to have faith in her and her other relationships, just as she would to you. If she doesn't stay true to you, if that's what you're afraid of by not letting her talk with anyone, then she isn't deserving of your attention. You need to love her regardless of any obstacles, and she needs to love you the same. You can't just keep hiding all the obstacles from her forever. Hope this helped! :)

@@crescenthaven8969 Thanks a lot for the advice, I really appreciate it. For me, the problem has always been my jealousy, I know it but I just can't help it. Although I know She isn't a cheater or anything of that sort, but the fact that she is being too frank and open or being friends with some other guy, hurts me a lot and more often than not, I get angry on her for this. Once I saw her laughing and joking and playing around with another guy, and I was really mad at her and I didn't talk to her for 2 days.. I just don't know how to control these feelings and be better at this :( :( :( I'd really appreciate if you could give your piece of advice on this issue as well as a girl :( :(

From the age of 20 to 28, which means till a month ago, I was in a toxic + abusive relationship with a person who was / and still is ready to kill me at any moment. A psychopath who took out everything from me. My academic life, my professional life, my money, my love for him which got destroyed by his cheating, beating, abusive words over and over again. I never talked about it anywhere. Suffering from anxiety & depression has its own lethal consequences. You are AFRAID to be alone. You are AFRAID to fail. You are AFRAID that you will not live without that person so you keep on continuing with that person, forgiving their every mistake and torture, thinking it will get BETTER. It DOESN'T. If it happens once, it will happen till the end of your life and then you die. THE END. So RUN as fast as you can from that worthless bastard. For whoever is going through the same situation - YOU WILL LIVE. YOU HAVE TO LIVE. YOU ARE STRONG. Don't let anyone take ADVANTAGE of your FEAR. Don't let anyone tell you that you are not capable. People are toxic. People need entertainment. They don't know about your heart, soul, struggles. Nothing. Stay strong and live your life.

There comes a situation during teenage that you are attracted to something or someone. You can not stop yourself until you know the toxicity or side effect of that and up to that moment, you will see your world in that. The moment you will realize something is wrong, you will be attacked by several thoughts, and analyzing those thoughts will create more thoughts. It is natural. In short, the problem will be solved when you know who you are and what you want from your life.

@@user-qx8pr3qf5b You say people who are 30 get into toxic relationship. I say there are also people who don't fall for these traps no matter their age. It's our life, our accountability, our responsibility. Consuming slow poison for 5 years and blaming the poison doesn't make any sense. I say it's all about maturity, maturity comes through experience and learnings, this experience is what which has made Helly more matured now when she says she's not that type of girl anymore who she used to be. She might not have gotten stronger if she hadn't gone through this. I'm not blaming these victims, I just feel sorry for her that she had to learn this the hard way. Would you stay in a relationship with someone for 5 years who breaks your bangles and beats the shit out of you? I say grow up please. It's your call. Your life is always what you make out of it. Being wise enough in knowing if someone truly loves you or not is what I'm referring to as maturity here. 1. It's just due to hormonal changes. As during teenage , puberty hits and due to that hormonal imbalance and all you feel attracted towards opposite gender and hence "relationship" comes into existence. 2. A person just not become toxic in a fraction of second. A person absorbs everything from it's surroundings. Mostly toxic people have seen such things in their families, friends and especially society or they are a bit mentally unstable (I guess) , so they think that it's just normal🤷🏻‍♀️.

He just made my life hell He used to abuse me ,call me names. Back then i started feeling so useless. I remember that day when i cut my hair short, i sent him pic and he said if you will go like that with open hair people will call you slut. When i told me i was going to study in Delhi University. He said me you will make new boyfriend there and you will forget me. There are endless such incidents which really broke me..i never expected all these from that person whom i love.

I was in a similar kind of toxic relationship few years back. It continued for almost 4yrs. That boy was literally body shaming, abusing, cursing and threatening me. Honestly I'm a bit skinny. But he used to tell me every single day that how much skinny i am. How my thighs are so unattractive, how other girls have fleshy thighs that he wanna grab ....I didn't care about them much because I was young and careless about that... I remember when we had our 1st kiss... You know how it is so special for everyone... we kissed each other and then came back home.... And we started discussing how magical it was... Then he asked me "were u wearing lipstick?" And I said no it was just a lipbalm.... And he said eewwwww I felt like vomiting when I kissed you!! You know how it felt...I can literally feel that same day same moment right now while writing all this... When we were in a relationship, inspite of living in the same city, he never met me after our 12th was over...we went to different streams and different colleges...He stopped calling and all...we used to talk for a short time daily on whatsapp.... But when I decided to break up, he started blabbering that he is drinking and smoking and not eating properly and that he's sick...all that happened I don't know how I managed to came out of that...but i was blessed to get out of that bad phase....and aa helly said...i was set free after a very long time!!

But finally, I gathered the courage to end it. And it's been over 2 weeks and I must admit.... The effort of confrontation worth it. And yo anyone who is still in that kind of situation,I'd say one thing:- If you are only investing your self in something for the only reason that you've done that for so long... Damn relatable!! Went through the same for four years. And when I'm listening to you it feels like you're telling me my story. I wanted to write it down, about like what happened to 'the old me' but...words. I was unable to put the whole thing in a paper with a bucket of words. It was nice to listen to you. Btw congrats!!!

Never been in relationship till now (21years old), never had alcohol stuffs (because my religion restricts it)but these 2 really makes sense, i am emotional strong(met with 2accidents but bounced back, those hard time made me better), rational(when i was 13:if relationship do not end in marriage makes no sense), happy, feels powerful, than those (my) friends who had relationship stuffs...

I have the same ideals. It's better to have clarity in your own life and be self-dependent before committing to someone else. And the commitment should be meaningful and end in marriage, otherwise there's no use of investing your emotional energy into something futile (like flings, etc).

Abuse is abuse. There is no point in trying to gauge how big or small the abuse you have been subjected to is. There are things you deserve and there are things you don't deserve. No one deserves abuse in love.

I've never been in a relationship but Saheli's video makes me feel good about myself as I used to like my classmate who never loved me back it was just one sided. I never went to force her and made her understand the fact that I didn't deserve her so that she doesn't feel guilty for not accepting. I'm genuinely great full for my act. This video made me realise those things. Thank you helly!
