My reaction to Proud of you absolute was exactly the same Ross! However... I gave mine a good 10 sprays to allow some oxygen in the bottle and after about 3-4 weeks of maceration, I revisited it and it completely changed, it was an incredible difference. Was much smoother and richer and closer to the original. I am finding that a lot with these clone brands they need time to sit and develop.

Brainstorm: If your wall had more tropical blue emanating from it, your pink shirt would have really popped and made a helluva nice Florida aesthetic. Something maybe to keep in mind maybe for future videos: Coordinating outfits + backlighting. I think itd be a cool vibe.

As a rum fan, you sold me on Proud of You Absolutely. I can't wait to pick that one up closer to winter!

Nice haul Ross. I just saw Nikos Sculture Mykonos Fraiche also ! Used to have the og Sculpture....maybe I will try this new one. LOL....Fragrance World has been killing it lately.

Recently I have buy the Mandarina Duck for her edt It stunning 😅 For me is a perfect unisex fragrance, bergamote, floreal, and cream woody in the base I spend 23€ for a 100ml bottle, and is pretty damn good on the performance By the way, Nathalie Lorson have do lot of them 😊

Im a sucker for a good dupe! Especially cool weather fragrances...intrigued by that Absolute clone...curious about the longevity and the performance...but if you think its worth it...then we gotta give it a shot!!! Side note. EJ will always be remembered because the hobby fragrance love--should bring us happiness...and he definitely picked the right name for his moniker!! Prayers to his family--you, & all he touched and affected...may he R.I.P. (Rest in Perfumery!)!!!

I definitely have to get my hands on the Fragrance World. I had Stronger With You Intensely, liked, but not enough to buy again, but have never smelled Absolutely, so can just take this for what it is, whether they got it 100% right or not.

could it be that stronger with you abs clone is EDP, and if I am not wrong real one is perfume so oil concentracion could play a role in smell diffrence?

The way you described the stronger with you Absolutely Clone-twist, makes me think that it could be the smell of stronger with you Intensely or the OG mixed with Bentley For Men Intense 🤪😁🤓

I recently bought the JPG Le male Parfum clone from fragrance world. Smelt the same as the OG but absolutely zero longevity. Be interested to see if Proud of you is the same.

@@NigelKitto Starting to steer away from clones due to longevity. I just bought the OG YSL Y Le Parfum after owning Fakhar black. I have to say the OG is amazing. Again Fakhar black smelt close to Y EDP but performance was poor. I guess you get what you pay for. Although I think for me I will use clones for Niche to see if it’s worth paying for the OG. Detour Noire is a great performing clone of Layton.

@@stevepinnock5668 it’s tricky isn’t it, I’ve gone down bit of a hole with Lataffa/Armaf/Maison Al Hambra etc etc. Seems a little trade between cost and performance. One scent that’s so powerful yet costs virtually pennies is Jean Lowe Ombre if you like a leather scent. Around £18

@@NigelKitto Thanks Nigel, I do enjoy a leather scent for sure. I was looking at that clone. I have Afnan Rare Carbon and Ben Sherman signature both really nice Tom Ford Ombré Leather clones / inspired by. Yep I think I will just keep clones now for niche as I end up spending more in the long run buying the clone liking the scent profile then buying the OG. For designers I’ll probably stick to smelling in the shop or buying a decent. For niche I’ll give a decent clone a bash. Then if I like the scent profile save up for the Niche OG. TBH Nigel I have sold a lot of my clones and reinvested more wisely. Definitely quality over quantity moving forward. Thanks for the chat.

That Manderina Duck fragrance does sound pretty damn good and I'll put that bad boy on my list. Thanks for the heads-up on that one. Now as far as the other two are concerned, I bought the original Sculpture and had another bottle gifted to me and ironically, I don't like the scent. LOL! I also have Proud Of You Absolutely and that one was a waste of money too. WAAAY too sweet for me and I get that burning rubber stank that I sometimes get from fragrances off my skin. If anybody wants either of my bottles of Sculpture, hit me up and I'll give em to ya if ya.cover the shipping. Also, if you want Proud Of You Absolutely, I'll sell that one cheap.
