I was hoping Skurry would make Blue do grass rando 😂 But also, that’d probably be waaaay harder for someone who doesn’t know HK’s grass as well as Skurry does lol Quantum grass… I was surprised that they didn’t make Blue do the split nail tho lol They’re a merciful god of rando indeed 😂😂😂

Whenever a new rando setting comes out I just love to do a full rando. So all items, benches, journal entries, split items, nail, focus, grass, 1hp, wallet, curses... whatever is possible. The funny thing is how long it sometimes takes to find a viable seed. Last time it took over 30 minutes to generate a seed.

As a non binary person it moves me deeply, how respectful and mindful the hollow knight community is, I see only videos using correct pronouns for Skurry, I don't see transphobia in the comments, even the comments aren't misgendering, at least not purposefully, and people correct themselves if it happens. Y'all have no idea how absolutely rare this is in a gaming community. It sounds like basic common curtesy to not misgender someone but it's not. It means the world. Thank you to anyone reading this.

Honestly, props to Skurry for putting in interesting settings, but not impossible ones. Sure, it was difficult, but they seem to know what would give Blue a challenge without being totally tedious and unfun for him

Blue has the incredible ability to jinx himself at every turn!

The Watcher Knight section was such a mood, lol; starting the impossible task just for fun, but then getting so invested you tunnel-vision and beat your head against it until you achieve victory because you've left yourself no other option to keep your pride intact. . . such a relatable feeling.

the double jump only works if you're actively holding left/right based on which half of the wings you get and all height gain abruptly stops as soon as you move in a different direction and you immediately fall lmao

I loved watching this and just imagining how skurry was plotting and evil laughing at the same time when they designed the rando. All those time skurry was cursed by randomizers, they have so much to pass it on.

Yeah I've been trying to "speed" run recently just for fun and wk is my mortal enemy

43:06 my personal theory is that hegemol was supposed to be a bossfight inside the final dreamer’s room but it got scrapped and potentially turned into failed champion

You call this cursed when the literal first item is claw and you get wings after like 20 items 0.O it usually takes me 200 out of 1000 items to get one movement option But then again, last rando had upslash locked behind Pure Vessel and Lurien was locked behind Radience so I was forced to go godhome ending so I may just be inherently unlucky and machosist
