If Ashanty Sholay should be a court justice,you should prepare your case properly as a lawyer before you will go and defend a case before him because from all indications he is the type of person that does not take nonsense from anybody regardless of who you are. He is good.

@@wasiuoladimeji3821 First of your grammatical construction is not comprehensive enough for me to grasp what exactly you are driving at so I don't really know how I can respond in details to what you wrote but from the little that I can pick it is so appalling that you misconstrue honesty for jealousy and for any reasonable and sensible human being it is more than enough to know that this guy is not talking about himself personally but all he has said and is still saying is the fact that a child can't know so much for him to start talking about when his father was a young boy,it is damn too much for Wasiu to be contesting the fact that Sikiru Ayinde Barrister created fuji music therefore let honour be given to whom it is due.This is one problem that I have noticed about some of you guys in Nigeria,you always believe that if somebody is sort of famous then nobody can talk about them,you always believe that they are perfect and as such you begin to worship them like deities and should somebody talk about their wrong doings you are very quick to say that such person is jealous. Presidents of America are the number one citizens of the world and people still talk about them,people criticize them when they feel that they have done something wrong so who is Wasiu Ayinde that somebody can't talk about him,you guys should get this fact into your skulls.Finally if a court justice should sentence an accused person for wrong doing,it is because he/she does not take nonsense so does that mean jealousy.Honestly there are some Nigerians that really need to get their acts together.

What I know for sure is sometime in the future, people will appreciate Ashanty Sholay for setting the record straight. We have a problem with history in Nigeria and probably we are too lazy to read and research history. Well I will tagged you as the lazy one cos Barrister himself had said it in the interview he granted in 1998 that there has been "FUJI" music before he turn it around to his own "FUJI" which is the same thing K1 says in his "FLAVOUR" album. So what's the argument again?

Thank you, i watched the interview, even barrister himself said people has been playing fuji before him and he mentioned saka laigbade and co that wasiu mentioned in his orindowo orindola lojenwa dupe he sang even before barrister passed on, so i think those people accusing wasiu are just jealous of him.

Ajiwere is not music genre. Ajiwere is a call for Muslim to wake up and eat in the Ramadan period. My question is.. What is d name of genre music artist are singing in that month to wake ppl up for sahri in Lagos then? We had other music genre that other artist are coming out to sing during Ramadan. For examples benbe aladisa.they also jiwere but there brand of music is difference. Ajiwere is not brand of music or genre.its action and activities of musician in d month of Ramadan. Musicians sing Fuji to wake up ppl to fast in inland and other yoruba cities then.Nobody should come and tell us stories and lies. Barrister is not creator of Fuji. @ one man soldier aluta, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Ololade Balogun Barrister was and is the Fuji Creator. I grew up in Lagos Island and in those days the most popular kind of music are Apala, Sakara, Juju, Highlife, Orchestra or so. I repeat nobody was singing any music called Fuji, even Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Balogun first 2 LP was released as (and his Sakara Group). Though Alhaji Barrister drew his inspiration from Sakara music by using the sakara drum but dropped the violin-like "Goje instrument" and then was very good at Mouth Organ. "Were/Ajisari was typically Islamic type of music to wake the faithful for fasting during Ramadan period and the musicians played all kind of their style to achieve this. As our elders would say (T'ómodé ò bá b'átàn á bá 'robá, àróbá sìni baba ìtàn) if a child wasn't privileged of catching up with history he should be quick in learning from the suggestible, suggestible is the father of history. K1 the ultimate suggestible are not only contradictory but in realm of myth. Some of those K1 mentioned as Fuji musician never played Fuji. The one I am 200% sure of is Saka Olaigbade, that man plays Sakara music all his life. Thanks, I pray GOD will give us a listening ears and heart to comprehend the truth and stop distorting our history. Cheers!
