Ha ha . Here it is . Good canal that one mate . So is the main canal at Parra for bass . Been catching heaps there this week mate . All good fish too . 🤙🎣 Got five today and dropped at least 6 . Give it a try mate . I ran into Fmimf there as well .

@@zachfalzon8360 today was using a gulp prawn on size 2 offset worm hook with a small simker . Jorre is correct though , I am a fan of the beetle spin and 35mm chubbies . Fmimf and another fella were there flicking hard bodies and were also catching em . 👍🎣✔

Great stuff champion, 4 sessions in row, at that canal there have been big schools of salmon there, even up past the Café near the rail station, and lots of bream and whiting up there , I couldn't hook a salmon there, but yesterday I hooked one at Parramatta weir, and had the same results, jumped twice then went deep and busted me off, probably on a shopping trolley, that litter the bottom, so lots of salmon pushing up the Parramatta River, caught one at Rhodes about a year ago, on 6 lb braid and leader, and a 1 - 3 kg Daiwa infeet rod, great fun on light gear , really gets your heart pumping when they bust up, great video mate, better luck next time,

Thanks Anthony! It's been slow for me but I'm trying to keep the regular vids going! Half way through my slowest months, hanging in there. That's awesome, I haven't had a good session up that way in a while either. I think it's a case the fish are just one step ahead of me all the time! That's good to see that they are that far up at the moment

Chasing after bust ups is a great workout man 🤣 they have been hitting the bays hard for the last couple of weeks. Lot of fun on the light gear 🤙

The salmon were right up the end of the river at Parramatta weir yesterday, hooked one but only lasted about 5 seconds before busting me off on the ferry pylons, hooked it right where the fresh water flows over the weir, the water was shimmering and boiling as the salmon smashed the bait, never seen so many jelly prawns, and small bait fish, you could see flashes of silver darting through, I even caught my first Jewfish on a lure, 45 cm, so not big, but all in the same spot, at the weir, also got about 5 bream, everything on the pro lure clone prawn 62 mm, in jelly prawn colour , i haven't had a donut session since using the clone prawn, amazing lure,

I remember when The Parramatta river was a virtual sewer (many, many years ago) Thank the powers that be, that they have cleaned the place up and fish are there again, Great vid Shroom , shame not landing that salmon but great try. loved the vid.

Another good vid,I can’t believe you can catch good quality fish in the Parramatta river. Back in the 70s it was the most polluted water way in Sydney. Al🍺👍🏽

That was duckin sick brø, tell ya, had the same thing only kingfish at Gladesville, the rush of a bust up near you while landbased fishing is something you can't describe, its a mixture of magic and universal timing. And some luck. Live stream beers soon. Gotta tell ya something brø

Thanks Jorre! I am notorious for not running into busting up fish. It always gets me running after them literally! I'm glad I'm somewhat fit that was a bit of extra exercise I wasn't expecting. I'll have to see if I can do that stream at some stage!

I think you're right, I'm usually bad at finding them but the fact I did here says they are definitely pushing up the river in some decent numbers!

@@ShroomFishing Actually I take walks along that canal quite a bit and often see schools of mullet and very occasionally a roiling ball of mullet (or could they be another fish ??)
