@@bg22757 It was more the amount of money they received than the loss of a player that brought the success. For example, look at whats happened since LFC lost Mane and replaced him with Nunez. Its had the opposite effect and made them worse.

I'm a man utd fan, but this was a brilliant interview. You guys are lucky to have Klopp, and the respect seems to go both ways!

As a Liverpool fan I hope we hold on to Klopp as long as we can. He got us our first Champions league title 14 and PL in 10-years, bought in outstanding talent like Salah, Mane, van Dijk and Becker and played attractive offensive football. Beyond sporting achievements, he seems like a nice, down to earth bloke, a perfect fit for Liverpool.

We had a bad season a couple of years ago, everyone forgets we were around 8th in the February and still managed a top three finish. Even under Paisley we had the odd season in between success that were under par with 5th place finishes

It would be mental as well to simply expect brilliance from the entire squad year after year as well… Like Klopp even said in this interview, we are human beings & so are professional football players, so dips are bound to happen… even Man City have dips in form too

@@fitzempirepersonaltraining city do have more consistency, but they are very good at replenishing and refreshing there squad. Yes they have good funds to it. But Liverpool's revenue is one of the strongest in recent years. City have aksi beeb very good at selling players st the right time to still get good money from them. I do believe things will balance again, Salah and Nunez are just getting used to each other and starting to gel. Once they got that partnership right. I think we will be OK. Obviously midfielders need to give them better feed, and our defenders need to get there confidence back. Alisson has probably prevented things being a lot worse in my opinion

In Klopp we trust how can you doubt a man who’s won every single trophy there is to win in club football.

Bring these players in on 1st Jan 2023 ie Barella and De Jong , sign Tielemans for 5m, & Klopp finishes top 4 and wins CL Have deals in place now for ie I Jones (RB) , Danilo , K Kone to come in next summer If Klopp don’t Bring quality players in Jan 2023, he’s finished at LFC

I still don't understand this narrative that Liverpool "can't" spend like the teams around them. They can. They choose not to. They're arguably the 4th/5th biggest team in the world. They finish in the latter stages of the champions league, often being in a final and won it in recent years. They've finished in the top four for the last 5 years. They won two domestic cup competitions over a team that had vastly outspent them. They haven't had a big transfer outlay other than nunez which was cut by the mane deal on top of all their prize winnings from various competitions as well as their sponsorship money and gate receipts. They have a low ceiling for wages and have a small squad in comparison to other "big six" teams. This is a choice from fsg, they could easily have spent 200 million in the summer and still be well under ffp. Let's frame it correctly

I'm not a Liverpool fan, but this man is a legend and is still incredible. The man needs new players, after awhile great players age or lose the consistency needed to keep up with the high energy levels his game demands.

Really could not ask for a better manager

i still remeber when Klopp was announced as Liverpool manager back in 2015 his forst ever interview he asked us Liverpool fans to change from doubters to believers and i think we need to recollect on that pharse, this man has devoted so much t this club to bring back those glory days he brought back that spirit into our club, we are Liverpool this means more for sure, yes we can all see the problems lately its no denying but if it wasnt for klopp we would be idk where to be honest but because its Him I believe that we will for sure gonna go back to winning more games trophies and sing our songs with pride like we always do. YNWA is more than a saying its a way of life.

I would argue that 100% of true Liverpool fans realize how lucky they are to have this man as our manager. The media will always try and hype up the pressure, but the man has achieved so much on a budget that as far as I'm concerned, he has a job for life if he wants it.

It is a mental thing they could have won every trophy they played for last season and should have done and they know it. When you come that close to the greatest thing ever in club football and don't achieve it. It's hard to be exactly the same and start from scratch Again a couple of months later.

FSG need to invest in strengthening our Midfield and Subs on the bench. Need to be able to rotate our players more often (cant expect them to play at the same level every season when most of our starting 11 are playing most of the season, every season- fatigue is catching up with them, especially after the amount of matches we played last season)

As a city fan you want to laugh at liverpool but we've also been there, the year they won the league. 99 points is the 2nd best total ever in this league, achieved by Jurgen in this decade. I want him to comeback, I feel like he just might

I am life long Liverpool fan klopp shouldn't even think about getting fired,however the key question asked was should we have been more busy in the transfer window and I know for certain reasons such as FSG we weren't however jurgen always finds ways of dodging this question with a simple answer, he said everyone will say we need a specific player in the midfield and we couldn't predict we will have 2 forwards out etc but the question wasn't do we need a specific midfielder or about predicting how many players would be out,it was did we need to be more busy to compete the answer is a clear yes,our core midfield is old and injury prone,keita is always injured ox is always injured, milner is 37 and is not a 1st team player,henderson is 32 and is sometimes injured and is not a 1st team player,thiago is a first team player and is injured sometimes, not rocket science so for a manager who is always very honest with his answers it is frustrating for some fans to see he doesn't show his honesty properly with this specific question.

Look if he is stubborn and doesn't bring them in because he likes Elliot , Henderson and co, that might be bad for him and fans will get angry with him.He might even lose that job because you never know in football

Ruben Neves would be great fit for LFC and would fit in with FSG expenditure.

None of these issues are Klopp’s fault. We need investment and renovation. That comes from the owners.

the problem is fatigue and especially in the midfield. we know the quality the boys have, the owners have to support the manager and the physical longevity of the players by recruiting a couple of midfielders with physical profile and defensive capability. you cannot make the likes of fabinho play dangerous levels of minutes for years and then criticise his first poor form in the shirt.

Says a lot when fans of other clubs are desperate for him to leave. There is no-one better to lead our club. I’d rather get rid of the whole squad and start again than get rid of Jurgen.

I don’t get people saying Liverpool are having a bad season. They’ve had some bad moments, and inconsistency. Mainly in the premier league. But in the champions league, they got 15 points out of 18. Lost one game. Won 7. With 3 clean sheets. That’s not bad whatsoever. Barcelona. Ath Madrid. Juventus. All out.

We still believe in you Kloppo, but we need to change some of that midfield. Oxlade and Keita should already have been sold, Millie has done well but need younger legs next season. Hendo also out, may work as a squad player, but we really need to strengthen on the midfield department

Vicky is too good for sky. Lovely girl. As for Jurgen ... complete faith in him whatever happens thus season. Sometimes things don't go as we want them but we stick together. Jurgen took a rubbish team sitting midtable to every major trophy 🏆 with little money to spend. Around 140m net across 7 years. He's the best and if we lose him we are in serious trouble. Great manager, great fella. He gets this club ... its his club. He's our leader and he's going nowhere.

I feel for Klopp. He looks like he's aged dramatically and lost weight this season. The man is stressed.

How Klopp avoids scrutiny from the media is just mind blowing. They're so bias towards him. Ole got absolutely slaughtered the whole time he was in charge, Pep got it for 18 months until he got City right, they hated Jose wherever he was, Wenger got nothing but abuse towards the end. Yet Klopp just gets a free ride. He's done an amazing job at Liverpool, but they're awful at the minute. And he just never gets any sort of criticism. Ole was one game away from the sack every week, Gerrard's had it all season at Villa. They'll do the same with Potter at Chelsea now as well. For some reason, Klopp just never ever gets criticism.

Right or wrong, we support him all the way long.
