"I Want to celebrate Durga Puja...": Pakistani woman who is set to marry Indian man speaks with NTT
In another cross-border love story, Javeria Khanum, a Pakistani woman from Karachi has already arrived in India and set to tie knot with her fiancé Sameer Khan, a resident of Kolkata. Javeria has been granted 45-day visa by the Indian government, she opens up about her experience of entering into India for the first time. While the marriage is scheduled for January 2024, she is hoping her family too eventually are granted visas so that they too can attend the wedding. "I wanted to come early so that I could celebrate Durga puja but now look forward to Durga puja next year", said she. The couple expressed their gratitude towards the Indian government for helping them bring a closure to their 5 years of longing.

Great to know you have an open mind and have no religious hang ups in embracing Indian culture. Enjoy the Pujas in India. India is a land of unlimited joy. Festivals are year around, and Bengal in particular is the most cultural and full of mirth. From the Spring festival of Holi to Raksha Bandhan, the Hindu life is one of joy. You can never get such vibes in Pakistan, where the occasions are usually extremely somber and ultra religious. There is hardly anything to enjoy except just gorge yourself in greasy red meat and meet friends and family. Plus the religious diversity in India cannot be beat. There are no religious communities in Pakistan except for Muslims. Congratulations!

Obviously it's Hindus and other non muslims who suffered and are still suffering because of stupid partition based on Islamic agenda of hatred. Partitioned India has brunt the huge burden of refugees(including muslims) which affected India's long term economy a lot. Even after helping Bangladesh get freedom, millions of refugees were forced out of it in the name of Islam and most people settled in India.
