Here is an interview we made with an Afghan refugee during the project "Help4Dunkerque".
The stories from the different people that have travelled far and wide to to try and reach a sense of freedom from the various forms of opression they have encountered in their home countries and on their journey has inspired us to start the production on a docu/series about the never ending "migrant crisis" around Europe and beyond. From Turkey, all the way through the balkan route till their arrival in "safe" states such as Italy, France and the United Kingdom where some try to ask for asylum. Many people during their travel face a hard time in camps where they are forced to live either outdoor in tents or in other horrible conditions.
Through this series of videos we want to show the ongoing failure of our governments of giving safe passage for a better life to people leaving their native country due to wars or other forms of opression.
