Here's my experience with some of this. I was raised primarily by my mother who drilled respect for women into my head and I lived by that. Years later I struggle with women thinking I'm gay, not interested, or want me to be more assertive when I simply don't constantly try and get into their pants or push things when told no. They tell me I need to pursue more, be more assertive, etc BUT when I do or try to, I'm shut down and told I'm toxic. It's to the point I've honestly felt it best to simply not date or even try anymore.

My man, it’s time for you to stop caring about what these women think. You clearly have a good heart, but you’ve been mentally tormented by these birds for your entire life. You should do what YOU believe is the right thing, and women will fall in line when you show your confidence. Women often play by the exact opposite rules that they declare they do, and are a lot more impulsive than they want to admit.

How can we "date", when we are not allowed to be men anymore, not allowed to try anymore and it truly is best simply not to anymore. When I was 17, I constantly half-joked around with many people that I was done wasting my time on women and just going to buy a sexbot, because I've got better things to do with my free time than to just continuously fail with girls. I see now that what I saw in the future back then has already become a very real reality and pretty much the only option left, if you want to still have sex with a clean female body. 😑

I witnessed the opposite. A girl at a party i attended had a threesome with two steroid fueled spray tan wearing guys, and came back smiling from ear to ear while bragging about having had a threesome with said guys. All her female friends started slutt-shaming her (wich was wierd concidering it was well known that she in fact was a slutt), and eventually after making her cry, they convinced her to call the cops and report it as r*pe. The cops came and detained the two guys, but after questioning the girl she admitted that it was consensual and that she had been pressured into reporting it as r*pe. The guys were still arrested because it turned out that they had brutally beaten up an other party goer that same night. But to this day, 8 years later, the two guys are still remembered by most who were there and whoever heard it from those people, as the guys that r*ped the girl at that party.

Instead of owning up to choosing to sleep with me she lied to her mom and said I forced myself on her and to bolster her lie she wrote a article about it. It ruined my life for quite some time. My saving grace was actually her friends who knew she chose to sleep with me and knew I never forced her or abused her in any way. They felt bad and finally stepped up and told the truth. I had cops show up to my door lost many friends who thought she was being truthful until her friends came out and said it was bullshit and got jumped by a couple guys who believed her article. It was one of the worst experiences of my life and when the truth came out only one person apologized to me and she had no consequences. This reminds me of when my first high school girlfriend told me that she had been raped back in the day. I had no idea how to react. I felt so horrified and powerless. I was overcome with a lot of second-hand emotions on her behalf and struggled for days thinking about how to help or what I should say. Later on she elaborated that a guy had grabbed her ass at a party. That was the 'rape'. "It's still rape!" she said, apparently not understanding why I felt almost betrayed that she had put me through all of that. My teenage mind was there struggling with the impotence of thinking someone had violated her in some horrific or violent way. Meanwhile it was all over the kind of thing the gay guys at school did to me on a weekly basis to laughs and giggles. All unwanted contact is inappropriate, naturally, but the blurring of the lines definitely causes some misunderstandings. An unwanted kiss and a violent assault are not the same.

"Maturing" becomes nothing more than creating a socially acceptable mask that hides the cruel kid they've always been rewarded for being.

She is 10 now and she still comes to me first for a lot of things. My wife is from Mexico and speaks and read Spanish. Our daughter is dual learning English and Spanish. A girl I was dating a couple years ago, after we split, went around telling people I had "a problem with consent" - because we didn't use a condom the first time we slept together - after she read a stupid infographic she found on Pink News that said "Consent isn't just a yes or no, it's discussion of barrier usage, safe words, likes/dislikes" etc... Never mind that she didn't ask for one at the time, and that I was happy to use one when she brought it up the next time we met up. She also neglected to add that we were actually sleeping together for months afterwards, so to anyone hearing I had "a problem with consent", they didn't hear "couple who were equally irresponsible with protection" - they heard "rapist". It's actually lead to me being physically assaulted more than once, jaded on dating and afraid to make moves on girls since. As a "survivor" (hate that term) myself, I find the notion of watering down consent like that to be disgusting. Consent is a golden standard - to be kept separate from all other aspects of sex. It's creatures like her that make people raise their eyebrows and question real victims of sexual violence. So yeah, I get why young men are afraid.

So the fresh 18yo boy would be a life long sex offender all because the parents didn’t like him or they split and the daughter’s feelings was hurt. So revenge charges. Which introduced a lot of Romeo and Juliet style laws to protect these kids. I think that it will take laws way to long to catch up to the damage that is being done now. As someone who has been assaulted it sickens me that people who regret their choice of relations claim the same assault that happened to me. It’s not the same. There’s no such thing as rescinding one’s consent nor is that concept recognized in the American courts of law. Consent can be revoked at any time, even during but decisions made the past cannot be changed. The proper word for that idea is called regret and regret is a consequence of one’s actions and has no legal bearing unless there was a proof of financial or physical harm or deception based on reasonable assumptions of normality and definition.

If I meet someone and I was wrong about them then that's on me. If someone puts hands on me after I have said no then that's on them but its up to me to say no. People that that woman just speak at you, don't let other women speak even the older woman talking about her real life issues and certainly never letting a young man speak his far right speech. A man disagreeing with anything a woman says is labeled a misogynist and/or has toxic masculinity. Looking at a woman with her tits and ass hanging out of her barely on clothing makes you a pervert/rapist. Don't want to date women or anyone anymore, as a man, makes you an incel. Not in the mood for sex as a man? She calls you gay. A man is anywhere in a place with kids (that is not theirs) is a pedophile. Grown women having sex with teenage boys in school? It's the boy's fault because he wanted it. The only way to handle all of this nonsense is to just stop giving a fuck and to avoid crazy people (of which there are many).

How many women are going up to a guy and say, "Hey I wanna have sex with you"? Most women won't do that. So that means we need some legally binding document to prove consent. Misandrist conduct was the absolute norm during my schooling. Preferential treatment to girls wasn't hidden. And no one can actually refute it, there's actual data backing this up. Male students are reprimanded by teachers more even when they behave as well or as bad as female students do and most importantly of all, male students are given lower grades than female students for both better and equivalent standards of work. This is on top of the fact that the majority of teachers are female too and generally have a bias towards female students.

I think there's a general issue with society as a whole when it comes to willingness to be put in uncomfortable situations. Thats how we learn and grow. And that hinders personal growth and causes huge division in society that becomes a feedback loop. But apparently fear is better than discomfort to these people.

I’d say her experience isn’t that she wasn’t a teenager, it’s not that she wasn’t inexperienced, and it’s not that she wasn’t awkward… she was all of those. It’s the fact that she was likely the pretty blonde girl, and had all of the guys chasing her. This comes with both pros and cons. She had all of the attractive, smooth talking guys who knew how to navigate relationships (who might not have had the best intentions) approach her, but she also had unattractive or awkward guys (who might’ve had good intentions) approach her. She wants the ability to keep the good, filter out the bad, and not have to worry about the latter. She doesn’t understand how many times a guy might fail at starting a physical relationship with a girl. She doesn’t realize that if a boy is like “would you mind if we had sex”, overemphasizing the consent, that it would turn off a girl. Girls want guys that “just get it”, and that takes trial/error. It’s not her problem though. It only becomes an issue when she becomes the mother next to her, and it’s her 14 year old son that going through it, that she truly understands the other point of view.
