I Walked Japan’s Suicide Bridge
(reupload: there was an audio sync caused by yt. I have checked the video, and it should be fine. If this video is out of sync for you, try to refresh yt) We walked Kageyama Dam; an infamous location said to be haunted after a lady in red was said to end her life here. Since then, multiple people have claimed to experience paranormal activity. These rumors intrigued us to visit the location. Perhaps the stories are real, perhaps not. One thing that is real is mental health. So if you or someone you know is suffering from mental distress, contact your emergency hotline. In Japan, you can visit telljp.com/lifeline/

Aki you saw a Japanese Luna moth! They’re very pretty and are rarely seen (although not that rare at all) due to them being nocturnal, and having a lifespan averaging 1-2 weeks. The Scream is a fox, their yelps are often mistaken for women or children screaming. It's even more blood curdling when mating - because unlike a single yelp it's a prolonged yelp or series of yelps (The male member swells inside the female and the female contracts leaving the two trapped together for several minutes. This to quote David Attenborough 'Looks and probably is quite painful') which is really quite blood curdling.

3:02 In many ghost story in my country. The "sound of the animal in the wood suddenly stopped" is the usual sign that somthing is wrong. But I also heard that it is a normal thing to happened when someone walk into the wood, and the sound usually come back after the animal realised that you not a threat. However, if the wood went silence again for a second time, you should be worried. That because its a sign of a large predator, or someone else, or "something" else other than you are comming near...or even follow you right now.

Idk why you guys act like suicide is a specifically Japanese problem. Mental health issues are sht everywhere period. Japan's suicide rates are on par with EU and Canada's. In fact the US's suicide rates overtook Japan's in 2021, which is on top of their school shooting and homicide rates, which Japan doesn't have
@VTWS
Жыл бұрын
Generally the more rich and developed a country is, the higher the suicide rate. Apparently eople don't off themselves when they're sleeping on literal crap in poor countries, but they do if they are bored or anxious enough in a rich country. The fact that Japan has high societal expectations, toxic school/work culture, and limited room for people to express emotions is also a big factor.
That scream is so faint because of those frogs, but it sounds like a barking fox or a vixen's scream. It's quite spooky even if you know what it is and it is used in movies and tv series to set a ominous scene. In the tv series Midsomer Murders there is at least one fox cry in every episode that has at least one scene set at night, and that is just about every single episode of the series.
@TheGlitchedFurby
Жыл бұрын
Yes I agree with the fox scream, sounds very similar to it. Also I was quite surprised to hear Spring Peepers (the frogs), unless it’s a similar sounding species, and see Luma moths in Japan. Those are both North American natives so hopefully they mess up the ecosystem too badly x.x

@Vee.N0c3daIt’s was probably mating season or competition over a female. Or a fight between the foxes
if you are out on the countryside with lots of trees surrounding you and you hear screaming, there's a high likelyhood that its just an animal. Lots of animals sound like human screaming, and many of them are nightactive. We hear "screams" in this area a little now and then and its normal to just shrug it off, cause violent crimes almost never happens but animals do happen a lot, cause the town is surrounded by forest on all sides.
@ReptilianTeaDrinker

Probably a fox. At least the foxes where I live make those sorts of noises at night. It's either that or a type of owl, because some make similar noises here. It's pretty terrifying to hear in the middle of the night, I won't lie.
I've heard that green moths can be a sign of a spirit visiting you from the afterlife. I heard a story where a couple saw a green moth perfectly still in their house (apparently theyre really rare) dayss after their friend died and then at her funeral there was a mural of a green moth on the side of the funeral venue (they had no idea about the mural previous to her death)

All things considered, if w didn’t know about the suicide that happened in any given place or location you wouldn’t be feeling to cautious or skeptical. Putting that idea in can easily make people doubt themselves and brace themselves for whatever they feel they unprepared for.

The moth you found is called a Lunar moth and they are really rare They signify transformation and rebirth so it's facinating that you found one here!
This is just a personal opinion ofc, but even as someone who believes in spirits, I've never feared "haunted" places. Spirits or "ghost" can't hurt you. What does scare me is people. People are way scarier thnán any spirit. I'd rather walk down a haunted tunnel any day, than walk alone at night in the city.

Aki, I am not a paranormal expert. However, I have had more experices with the spiritual world than I would have liked. The moment you started to feel dizzy and sick, you were actually picking up on a ghost. Whether you were feeling what they were feeling, or how they wanted you to feel due to the drawning energy from you, is one of the two. Next time try to take something for spiritual protection so this does not happen again. As for the ghost following you home, time will tell. But it is unlikely. Most souls are tied or bound to where ever they passed on at.
I like this era of Aki the ghost hunter!
The night vision cam makes it seem darker. Also be glad there's no side passageways in the tunnel. It would make it even scarier.
During the solo tunnel sequence, in any other Japanese video, a ghost would be popping up from the floor or crawling around on the ceiling.

A little, tiny part of me, actually wanted the video to really have been cursed so no matter what you did, the audio would always desynchroze after upload (and maybe a ghostly voice becoming more clear with each reupload, that would be interesting), but aside from that, it's nice to watch it as it's intended.
