Thank you for answering my question. I wish you well on whatever you decide to undertake next. I'm sure it will be understated but magnificent.

What a cool way to wrap up the epic journey! It is yours to begin with and certainly yours to conclude in the end on your terms without distraction. The “walk” speaks for itself, no fanfare needed. Thanks much for taking us along the way and sharing glimpses of such a daring endeavour. A journey of this magnitude and depth is worth recording not only for a time like this but also times to come. Looking forward to your productions whenever you are ready.

I personally really respect the personal and quiet homecoming. It felt very emotional and I'm glad you got to have that.

I totally understand what he answered. I too during personal time, choose to go alone and discover myself, live a moment and then relive it in my mind, ask myself why I acted the way i did and if i would have done something different. INTROSPECTION is a very important task a lot of people don't utilize to ensure they grow as a person.

Totally supportive of that, it's super understandable on my view too. I'd have surely opted to do the same thing for the same reasons.

I fell in love with solo backpacking about 7 years ago, and absolutely get what you're talking about.

It makes sense :) I didn't even know you had finished your journey. Last I checked I think a few years ago, you were living somewhere I think with a girlfriend and seemed to be contemplating making that place your new home. If you aren't together with that person anymore, I hope you find someone in the future (if not present) to share life with.

"Sir why are you running? Are you doing this for world peace? Are you doing it for the homeless? Are you running for women's rights? Or the environment? Or for animals?" They just couldn't believe someone would do all that running for no particular reason. "I just felt like running."

Will you return to some of the core memory places and people you met on the travel? Like the hermit in china and the odd mafiaboss restaurantowner, both mentioned in the book?

I think what she meant was why was your Dad so indifferent to you returning ? And why were you so indifferent to your Dad ? You and your father meeting up, was not normal in any sense.
