@streetzfpv right. I fly micros occasionally but it's not worth a set of analog goggles. The BDI adapter is enough and they've worked out most of the bugs now. I don't think I'm good enough of a pilot to notice the extra 10ms latency or so.

I use the wifi module on the HDZero goggles. It streams to any VLC player app on your phone or computer. It can send the HDZero/WSAvatar/Analog feeds. Whatever you see in the goggle gets sent to the phone/pc/tv. However you can't fly using the module feed, the delay is a few seconds. It's really convenient for camera angle adjustment and OSD alignment from the bench. And of course sharing with others.

Thanks for the video JB. It is late but still relevant to me. I'm one of those odd ducks that doesn't really like goggles. I like to be able to see what is going on around me when I fly especially when I'm flying alone in an unfamiliar area. I recently finished an analog 7" build and bought the eachine 7" diversity fpv monitor with the goal of attaching the monitor to my radio and using it sort of like the DJI controller with monitor built in. It works great but the 7" monitor is a bit cumbersome since the radio I've attached it to is the small RadioMaster Pocket. Ive found I prefer putting the monitor on a tripod but it's not ideal since I sometimes like to walk around while flying in an attempt to improve video reception. I think that 5" monitor would be just about perfect to attach to the Pocket. I might just pick one up. The better reception technology would be a bonus. I am going digital with my next build (3.5" Cinewhoop) but I intend to keep the 7" analog. Thanks for your review. Still relevant for a few of us lol. Happy flying amigo.

For recration or GoPro-careers I still love analog. So simple, no bullshit, no daily updates, bugs, bugfixes, overheating, stutters, freezing OSDs, pumping exposure, low contrast, poor low light.... And all of this with cheap reliable hardware and a smooth breakup-behaviour that gives you a ton of feedback on how far you can push it. BUT.. Eachine made such a display years ago. Only diversity, but that's really the only thing it lacks in comparison. :D

For people using analog groudstations this could be really usefull if the DVR is good. So far the options for separate DVR units are very poor, with the Immersion Powerplay being the best, but that one is no longer available. I use a FXT DVR, also very good but also discontinued. Ah. I was looking for a monitor 2 years ago. This I would have gotten immediately. Might still do, as I fly Tinywhoops most of the time analog, and when I have spectators, it is usually a whole group of friends that then have to hand the goggles over currently. $99 also seems a super good price! Still, it feels like skyzone woke up after a super long winter sleep. The Sky04x were amazing, but I was expecting them to come out either with something innovative or modern, and not this or the new analog goggles. Well, you're right. But if TX and RX are so close together the sending signal is strong enough to find it's way into the screen without antennas. Don't do this with Tx : Your VTX will be toasted Happy flying.😉

No antenna on receiver is fine. Transmitter can be an issue.

My first set if box goggles was 100$ its screen came out like this. Had it all the time with analog until I fully switched to hd zero.

Early in @0:30, I thought to myself. "I have a 10" Aomway monitor that is 1920x1080 has diversity. Its a bit like using Windows 3.1 but it works." Wondering if size is the only advantage. Hoping so, because it was literally the best option you could get at the time I got it.

The big advantage of Anlagoge for me: If you want to stay cheap and want to try more different Drones or Fixed Wing, you have the Option to change any VTX and Cam together, and it is easy to setup and if you buy gooD VTX, and Cam and try to elimate Noise in the Video, you can have extreme clear And good Looking Image too!. For me I will Stay Analog for the Price, for the Price of 2 Digital Drones, you can Buy 3 Analog Drones. And I Fly Ficed Wings and Crash alot there is the Adwantage if you want do put an Analoge AIO Cam into an ZOHD Drift. You may have more Possibilitys to ralaise different Projects. If you crash an Airplane and have an new Different Airplane, you can individualy Choose the VTX Chape and size for the Airframe. And on Airplane somtimes you have to travel 400mm of Wideo wire into the front back to the rear. Yes the Image is not so good like digital, but in the Past the TOP Anlage Goggles had more Comfort to fitting into the face or if you wear glasses. I recoment for Beginners who interestet to try many Different Drones, Robottic and Fixed Wing, go to Analogue becurse you want to try many different Crafts you need the Construktion Andavantage to can Buy this amont of stuff.

Kind of expensive for what it is but I guess that is because of the steadyview receiver.

I like this a lot. That 18650 is a big deal for me. I have a handful of small screens that have worn out batteries that are built in. Sure I could take them apart and put a new battery in but none of them were great screens anyway.

Did they really miss on the NR 1 Opportunity to have an analog output so this could act as an analog RX for HDZero/Walksnail Goggles X?

I still race analogue. I'm not good enough for the low latency hdzero cost to be worthwhile. I have a similar screen without diversity and this would be amazing.
