I Visited Top 5 Cities In Ghana To See How The Country Is Developing
From the modern and fast expanding city of Accra Ghana to the country's Ashanti and Cape coast regions. I visited the top 5 cities of Ghana in west Africa to see how the country is developing. As I travelled across the country I realized Ghana actually have a number cities that have different levels of development that present good opportunities for living and investing in the country. These top 5 cities all have airports operating daily flights.
1. Tamale
Tamale is the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana.
It is the third-largest city in Ghana and serves as a major commercial and administrative center in the northern part of the country.
Tamale is known for its vibrant culture, with a predominantly Muslim population. From my experience I could tell the city is very big but not as well developed as some other cities that are smaller.
2. Sunyani
Sunyani is the capital city of the Bono Region in Ghana.
It is a peaceful and picturesque city known for its green landscapes and natural beauty.
Sunyani is an important commercial and educational hub in the Bono Region, with several schools, colleges, and a university.
The city is also home to historical sites like the Sunyani Municipal Assembly and the Catholic Cathedral.
3. Cape Coast
Cape Coast is a coastal city located in the Central Region of Ghana.
It is famous for its role in the transatlantic slave trade and is home to several historical sites, including Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle, which were used as slave forts during the colonial period.
Cape Coast is known for its beautiful beaches, making it a popular tourist destination.
The city also has a rich cultural heritage and is known for its festivals, such as the Oguaa Fetu Afahye.
4. Kumasi
Kumasi is the capital city of the Ashanti Region and the second-largest city in Ghana after Accra.
It is often referred to as the "Garden City" due to its lush greenery and numerous parks and gardens.
Kumasi is the cultural heart of the Ashanti people and is known for its vibrant traditions, including the annual Ashanti Yam Festival (Hommowo). The city is also famous for the Manhyia Palace, the seat of the Ashanti king, and the Kejetia Market, one of the largest open-air markets in West Africa.
5. Accra
Accra is the capital and largest city of Ghana, situated on the Gulf of Guinea along the Atlantic Ocean.
It is the economic, political, and cultural center of the country. Accra boasts a mix of modern skyscrapers and colonial-era architecture, reflecting its historical significance and rapid urban development. The city is home to landmarks like Independence Arch, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, and Makola Market. Accra is known for its diverse population, vibrant arts and music scene, and a growing tech industry.
In addition to these 5 cities Ghana has other cities and towns that are developing. Each of these cities in Ghana has its unique character, history, and cultural significance, contributing to the rich tapestry of the country's urban landscape.

i like the historical look of Cape Coast alot. I think it's not a place for everyone but for me, i love historical places and Cape Coast ticks all. Sea, history, good night life, not crowded and easy movement. Of course it lacks certain Morden things but i believe it has so much to offer. I love Cape Coast

If you listen to the president of Ghana his speeches exactly like Donald Trump. Also his goals is to make Ghana the gateway to Africa. He puts Ghana first. I think it’s funny how people wanted to leave the United States because of trump not knowing Ghana president was doing the same as trump Lol. I do believe Ghana is a good place to invest and I wish the Ghana people well
Kumasi living is a better alternative than the other nice cities. The city offers urban life plus serene environments than Accra which is overpriced and congested. That’s my personal opinion!

In fact, the only good road stretching from Nkroful juction, through Anaji to Appolo traffic light, is also deteriorating. Takoradi has history but not developing

Takoradi is the third most developed city in ghana and its also far bigger than sunyani and cape coast. Infact it is the fourth most populated city in ghana.

Takoradi is not bigger than Cape Coast. Sekondi and its surroundings are not Takoradi. So don't add Sekondi to Takoradi and assume its bigger. No it's not
You should have visit Takoradi metropolitan and Tema metropolitan because sunyani , Tamale and cape cost are far behind sekondi Takoradi and Tema which has both harbours and malls

The latest report of WAEC showed out of 460 candidates who had a perfect score, 423 was from Gh Human Dev Index Africa: Gh-12th (middle), Ng-28rd (low) Infrastructure Dev I Africa: Ghana-10th, Ng-23rd Life expectancy: Gh-65yrs, Ng-55 Phone Penetration: Gh-115%, Ng-83% Internet Penetration: Gh-72%, Ng-53% Health Insurance Coverage: Gh-72%, Nigeria-8% Electricity Penetration: Gh-85%, Ng-65% (majority of this % does not have power for). I don't even want to go into peace and security, water and sanitation, infant mortality, maternal death, malnutrition. Yes, Lagos is richer than Ghana (which shows how poor the rest of Nigeria is since Ghana is $300 richer than Nigeria, as per capita Gdp - World Bank Data), It just improved from the 2nd to 5th worst liveable city the world. Nigeria also jumped from the 5th to 6th most organized crime in the world. Egypt just became the country with the highest gap. You are still most populated country if there is any consolation. REST!!!

Accra and kumasi are the only cities here the others are beautiful towns really.Ghana is bankrupt at the moment,the president has mismanaged the country, building projects they can't afford and eating too many KFC by the looks of it.😅The citizens that can't afford KFC have taken to the street,occupying the government house for some days now protesting bad government.😅Hope they find solution soon or else all those KFC outlet will be closed..😢

Ghana only have one city , anything outside Accra the capital are just big towns ,I have traveled around Ghana ,there are no dual carriage highways (double lanes highways ) linking the capital to other parts of Ghana

Sometimes I just don't understand some of you. Is it just pure hate or tribal hatred? Someone spends his money, travel to Ghana visiting several places and includes Cape Coast as his top 5 best places in Ghana and you find a problem with it. Make your video and rank Cape Coast the 20th as you please Cape Coast is the preferred place for most diasporans relocating to Ghana outside Accra. You can rant all you want on social media, Cape Coast is far better than your village that is not even known.
Please don't put mahama face there because it's nothing to do with mahama he is finished up his job
