I Visited MEDINA, SAUDI ARABIA, as a Non Muslim 🇸🇦 المدينة

Medina is the second Holiest city in Islam after Mecca. It's here where the Prophet Muhammad lived and died. Millions of Pilgrims flood to both Mecca and Medina every year.
Whilst touring Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2020, I passed Medina on my way to Al Ula from Jeddah. Having been told by various sources it was okay for me to roam around the city (but avoid entering the Prophet's Mosque), I decided to take the opportunity to explore. Traditionally, non Muslims have been forbidden from entering Mecca (and this is still the case) but for Medina there is no such enforcement of this rule, and all visitors are welcomed.

Very tastefully done, Jason. I did the hajj in 2013 and loved Medina. I found it very calm and peaceful compared to Mecca. Many people are afraid to travel to KSA, primarily due to ignorance and fear. Your Vlogs help dispel these anxieties. Well done.

@@edstraker8451 My point is that Jason reinforced the very real safety concerns of many people who are not Muslim, that might consider making the trip. Spending large amounts of money and time, then having to stand in the intense desert heat well outside the gates of the only real reason to be there is a tough sell to even the most ardent traveler.

Reviling one self to those that have no right is HARAM or fobid. None Muslim not allowed in certain place is for a reason.. Many non Muslim x respect the holly places. 11 When a prophet messenger is sent on earth, it’s because there is no more truth on earth and his Message is the only truth of his time. He is the depositary of the truth. He is the legislator of the Word of God in his time. You see? When Noah was preaching, no one could be saved unless by the Message of Noah. When Jeremiah was preaching, no one could be saved unless by the Message of Jeremiah. When Elijah was preaching, no one could be saved unless by the Message of Elijah. When the Lord Jesus was preaching there in the streets of Jerusalem, no one could be saved unless by the Message of the Lord Jesus. He said: "No one comes to the Father unless by me". You see? When Martin Luther was preaching there in Germany, no one could be saved unless by the Message of Martin Luther. When John Wesley was preaching, no one could be saved on the whole face of the earth unless by the Message of John Wesley. When William Branham was preaching there in America, no one could be saved on the whole face of the earth unless by the Message of William Branham. And today, you cannot be saved but by the Message of Prophet Kacou Philippe. If you were a child of God in their time, you would believe in them and it is the same today. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”] [Kc.3v12] [Kc.31v18] [Kc.91v6] #ProphetKacouPhilippe

It is unfortunate that the people who need to see a video, like this, depicting Muslims (especially from Saudi) just living their lives as we do (with cultural differences) and that they are not to be feared. Quite the contrary. Thank you for giving us a peek into such a highly protected site. The view of the minarets dominating the sky was stunningly beautiful.

its a completely indescribable experience. he didn't comment on the peace he was feeling as he approached the mosque, I assume he remains this way in all his videos so he doesn't bias his viewers in any way. This is the first of his i'm seeing. The minarets were absolutely beautiful but again as he said he only scratched the surface of levels of peace and beauty. On an aside, I actually wish he'd respected that women are "protected" more in his footage. Yes there are women there, living their lives but because they're "protected and respected" I wish an outsider would show that he's doing it in his footage. Madina is a city of light and peace. People are on their best behaviors. They might bump you but they'll kiss you on the head to apologize. I spent 5 days there. Probably need to write about it at some point. I was "taken care of" the time I got there to the time I left. I went not knowing much, the start of my experience was that the air hostess started crying soon as we landed...Madina is not to be observed its to be experienced...hearts find rest there.

This is reminiscence of my time in the KSA. I"ve met a young religious guy who was the nicest person i've ever met in my life. He was a student at Imam University. He took me to many places including the amazing museum in Riyadh. He made me understand the religion but didn't force me to convert to Islam. One time I joined him on a Friday prayer (Jum'ah). I remember many people inside the mosque welcomed me. Many of them embraced me. I was so touched by the unexpected gestures. A few months later he invited to join him to trip in Madinah and Mecca. He told me that if I will be asked if I am a muslim I should just recite the "Shahada" which i still memorize to this day but nobody ask me. He did all the taking. We went first to Madinah and went inside the Holy Mosque. He showed me the tomb of the holy prophet and the supposed to be the dedicated tomb for Jesus (Isa) on his return to earth. It was stunning. 2 days later we traveled to Mecca, I was very anxious what will happen but we arrived safely and without any hassle. As soon as we entered the Holy Mosque, my jaw just dropped. It was breathtaking. We did the Tawaf and I saw the Black Stone and the footprint of prophet Ibrahim up close. It was breathtaking. I am not that religious anymore but I still keep all the good teaching and learning of the religion. Until now i have a soft spot for Muslims because I had an amazing experience in Saudi Arabia and its amazing and very generous people. It was a life changing experience for me. I lost contact with him but I hope he is in good health.

As much as Islam would like to hijack the life of Jesus and incorporate it in Islam to justify its existence as a part of the abrahamic faith, it completely inventes a different Jesus who is called Isa 600years after the real Yesua. Covering is cultural and Islam has sects. That is why you would see women wearing hijabs and others niqap. Some muslims don't even wear it. Not one phrase in the quran states hijabs or niqaps in terms of Arabic linguistics and in terms of meaning many Islamic sects stated differing opinions. Therefore, it is purely based on your family's/society belief.

To give you an idea of Majid Al Haram its bigger than the prophets mosque and in the middle, it has a very large open area with the Kabah (cube building) in the middle the size of the mosque itself is mind-blowing... the prophet’s mosque is also enormous in scale to put it into perspective a brisk pace of walking would take 20 mins or so to walk one end of the mosque to the other... you have subscriber

At-Tawbah The Repentance Verse 28 Believers, those who ascribe partners to God are truly unclean: do not let them come near the Sacred Mosque after this year. If you are afraid you may become poor, [bear in mind that] God will enrich you out of His bounty if He pleases: God is all-knowing and wise.

Great video! Very informative and very accurate too. Not many people bother to look into other religions and be able to tell which thing is religious and which is cultural. I was very impressed when you started pointing cultural things out. Thank you very much !
